I'm learning that the HEB brands are okay in most cases, but their chips and other items have bioengineered (genetically-modified) ingredients that are probably also in other items I buy, but it's disappointing... something to watch since there still isn't much information about the health risks. The staff members stay fairly busy so they don't go out of their way to assist folks, but our cashier was real friendly. The Texas section is one of my favorites. She obliged. We were visiting from a small town and were blown away by this place. It was incredibly clean. All of the employees were smiling and busy. The produce section was immaculate. We were getting short on time so we didn't get to go to many sections, but the flower shop was great. I'm not vegan but my sister-in-law is and she would love this place. There were tons of options. We walked away hysterically with just over 1 lb. of "scratch M&M cookies" (20-ct for $5.99) and a super cute 5-inch chocolate cake ($14.99). Busy place.
