I usually purchase the $1 soap at Big Lots, because I have a well and septic system, and I can't do antibacterial soap. This is the perfect price point, and there are many different varieties to choose from. We came in here today looking for some roller Shades, however they do not have roller Shades at Big Lots. Only curtains and sheers. So, we were distraught at our lack of roller Shades, but made it through. We did find other things to purchase in the store, and had the most amazing cashier name Devin helping us check out. All in all it was a great experience and other than shopping for roller Shades, will be back.

They do alterations, special orders and other services like that. The people here or in general incredibly friendly. What really stops this from being five star review are two things. First of all the price, it's pretty high. $50 for a pair of pants is a little crazy (but they are good pantsg but they come in many many sizes. The other is a habit that they have when you check out, they come out from behind the counter to give you your bag and then walk you out. It feels vaguely like they don't trust you to leave and just hand you your goods after you paid for them and Leave.

For big and tall needs this is the place to shop and really the only place to shop. I went first…read morething in the morning on a weekday and they were two employees or female and a male. The female employee was most helpful however I felt so sorry for her because she was running herself ragged trying to help all the other people in the store. The male employee spent most of his time behind the counter or standing in the suit area waiting for someone to come in I felt that was really wrong and he should've been walking around the store like she was helping other patrons rather than standing there basically doing nothing. I found that he was rather rude to the female employee and often very abrupt in his answers. I spent almost $2000 in the store and that female employee helped me with every single thing I would have given them five stars but I had to deduct one because of that poor choice of a male employee.

We've been in Michigan for the past few months now and we have managed to make it to this store three times. It has made me realize how much I miss it. This store is nice and clean and the staff members are all awesome. On my first trip this year I couldn't find one of the things I needed and a very nice guy ran and got me what I needed from their stock room. A gal did the same thing for me on my last trip. The first two times I was there a very nice guy by the name of Nathan rang up my purchase. He was just so nice and personable! The last time a gal by the name of Jaci rang me up. She was very nice too. This store has fantastic deals. A lot of the items (not all) are close dated, so you need to pay attention. If I purchase any meats close dated I just throw them in the freezer when I get home. I've never had an issue. You can save some serious money here. We're getting ready to head back to Florida now so I will need to wait until next year to score more good deals. I will definitely be back!
