The signs on the door indicated the price expectations for certain days of the week. The bin set up is not like a traditional thrift store, but they did have shopping carts available. I also noticed a sign that said that strollers were not allowed, so I would not recommend coming with your small infant unless you have an infant carrier to let you be hands free. While browsing I saw some new striped Target heels on a shoe rack in different sizes and a bunch of random household items in the various bins. I didn't see much plus size women's clothing or clothing in general. I am sure that the items vary based on the day and time you'd come in. However, I am not sure if I would return any time soon. I waited faithfully until they had their Black Friday sale. It actually started well before the holiday. My daughter and I made our way to the store on this day to buy beds for both of us. We got to the store and immediately found the furniture section. We had a lot of questions and the store associate was patient with us totally. It was easy to pick out which mattress we wanted because we were able to try them out at the store. Yes literally laid on the bed and rolled around until we found the one we wanted. On my first visit, I came in to buy candy and ending up browsing. And during that initial visit, I appreciated how many items this store has to offer and how well it's laid out. The patrons and workers take care of this store. I don't know how long it's been open, but it doesn't have the "tired" feel of most discount stores. And it's neat. Things aren't all piled up on each other in any random area; each section is separate and where you would expect to find something it's usually there. I didn't initially think of Deals as a "dollar store" but there are a lot of things that are $1. If I had kids, I come here every other month or so, give them $10 and let them go crazy. And if I were just starting out and not sure of what I needed, I would come here to buy dinnerware, glasses, etc. The prices are comparable to (and in some cases lower than) Wal-Mart and Target, so why deal with the parking and long check out lines of a bigger store?
