I've had better, but hey it's Henry county ppl and for a weeknight outing I'll take it. The customer service-I've never had inconsistent customer service here until Sunday night. Yesterday. I had been in late (20 min till close) and after the final announcement I took my books to register. I stood there with no one else in line and waited 5 minutes before anyone said anything even though there were 3 employees behind counter. The manager appeared to be closing a register. The girl that had been staring at me within that time finally said are you ready. Acting dumb like she hadn't seen me. She then said her register was close and pointed me to the manager who finally noticed I was there. Miraculously. He said his registered was closed and told me to go to the cafe. I would like to point out how they looked at me like why are you still here. Gtfa. Rude folks that night. Except for the girl in cafe who waited on me. She just seemed spaced out. In another world.

They also had more than four tables with discounted books ranging from $7.99 to $5.99 and $3.99. These were very popular books that came out this year, ranging from paperback to hardback. The staff were nice and they have a great read and return policy to get a discount on a future purchase within 90 days, but ultimately in the airport selection is everything. Note: Heritage has multiple locations in the airport but their flagship location that I'm reviewing is in Concourse E.

They have a great selection of small and large gifts, a coffee shop, snacks and a wonderful selection of books. I came in for a speciality item, The Tarot De Marseille tarot deck. I look at the tarot section of every book store I'm ever in and this was the best selection I'd ever seen at a general bookstore. There are hundreds of styles of this particular deck in the world and they had a specific style I was looking for, at an affordable price. Wow! They also had box sets for beginners or anyone wanting a full box set deck. The staff here were also very nice, friendly and knowledgeable. They happily showed me where the things I needed were. Everyone was helpful and nice. Inside- Wall to wall stuff... posters, toys, childhood lunchboxes, action figures, DVDs, etc., and ofcourse comicbooks for days. It is a older store, so don't expect department store organization but they do have a system. Walking through made me smile and brought back memories. I was a comicbook, action figure kind of girly(I had Barbie dolls also). Merchandise- I swear if you think of it, they probably will have it or can get it. The have a area with comicbooks that are sold in a set(that's what my son choice). There is a area with current comics. If you're a collector(I didn't know how expensive a collectable could be) they probably have it. That back wall to the right has comics I didn't know were comics, I seen that they also buy your action figures and I would assume other things collectible worthy. Prices- My son picked one of there comicbook sets(10-12) and I picked 3 Betty and Veronica comics... total was around 30 to 38 dollars. This is a great shop…read more Being new to the area, I didn't know what to expect. Wanting to find a new comic book/toy shop, I was hopeful and man, this place did not disappoint. This place has everything. The comic selection is vast and the prices vary: they have a $2 selection, $5 selection and of course more expensive comics. Everything is nearly organized and at times overwhelming because there is truly such a large section that you could thumb through these for hours. The toys! Wow, so many i haven't seen in years or ever. I did find some of the pricing to be a little steep, but i suppose its supply and demand. Everything again was nearly organized and structured by specific genre, group. The staff was beyond helpful and friendly. They were super knowledgeable and just plain ol' nice. I can't wait to make this my regular comic book shop in the future. I spent a bunch of money and I'm sure I'll spend a bunch more.

Still, the owner remembers who I am and always provides a pleasant greeting. If I need help, he's more than happy to provide it and discuss comic books with me. He is very knowledgeable. If I don't need help, he leaves me alone until it's time to check out. The place is kind of crowded, but that's only because there are so many titles, action figures, etc. in the place. There is always plenty of things to browse and so far, the prices on the back issues I've purchased were reasonable. Overall, I enjoy visiting this place and briefly chatting with the owner. I feel good about spending my money at a local business like this.

This place has gone over quite the transformation in the year plus with the new owners. The new…read moreguys (sorry, I do but know their names) are very tech savvy and have made the place much more kid friendly. My girls still call it "Bungee's", but they love the new lay out. They have their section they hang out in while I get what I need. I like the fact all the new comics are now on one of two displays so you can grab them real quick if you only have a minute.
