When you go to pay the cashiers there struggle with basic math having to count less than 2 dollars…read more6 times and telling you you gave them more than you actually did. So you tell them the actual amount they gave then they say no you gave me (incorrect amount) even pointing it out to you then incorrectly counting it out loud to you after you tell them the amount you gave them. If I didn't do that they would have been shorted money by giving me back way too much money. Not sure how they can't count to 7? I guess they like giving out free money or undocumented discounts. If I am wrong in counting it okay, but to be told no I gave them more than I did then counting it back to me while pointing to each coin when you are counting it completely wrong is crazy work. Then after finally realizing their mistake silence. This location is definitely below the mark for customer service. I'd rather go to a different location or sprouts. Even WM at this point. Customer service has also gone way down in general at this location including with argumentative cashiers like above noted ones. I've also seen a lot of staff just standing around talking or just looking bored. Maybe they should consider additional training for cashiers related to customer service?

Produce looked very fresh aside a moldy nectarine but everything looked great. The deli and bakery was full and smelled wonderful. I was very impressed with the standing tall meat department. The sale on the the Ribeyes and strip steaks is a terrific buy and the ribeyes were awesome. I don't shop the aisles just the perimeter but I did try an ice cream brand I've never seen before and I fell in love with it. It's called Mayfield creamery. I have to go back and get more.

The selection of fresh meat and seafood was questionable. It wasn't of the quality that I am used to buying at other popular grocery stores. In addition, there were only two check-out lines open and a line of customers a mile long. I couldn't tell if they were understaffed or bad at organizing the staff they do have. I needed something from the customer service counter and probably waited 20-30 minutes. There was only one employee who had to answer the phone, which never stopped ringing, and handle a line of 10+ customers. Overall, I am not a fan and will not be returning. There is a Publix a mile down the road, do not waste your time here!

After nearly an hour of walking around she finally made her decision on a Simply Southern T-Shirt. We went to the register for it shortly thereafter, at which time the Simply Southern T-Shirt rang up for 30% off. The attendant at the register then proceeded to say "All Simply Southern shirt's are 30%" off". My significant other was so excited that she went straight back to the area where she had just picked out the shirt that I was paying for. She did this before I could even complete the transaction. I finished paying for the item and told the attendant that I knew she couldn't wait to go find more shirts after finding out that they were all 30% off. We then took what felt like another eternity, (probably only 30 minutes in actuality) looking at all the simply southern shirts again. She then found a couple more she liked. We went back to the register now on the opposite side of the store as it was closer to where we were at the time of check out. The shirts did not ring up as 30% off. I explained to the cashier that we had just purchased this Simply Southern shirt and that it was 30% off, as stated at the time of sale by the cash register attendant, all Simply Southern Shirts are 30% off. Again, as stated by the Bealls employee, not just this single shirt, but ALL Simply Southern shirts were at that discounted price. And not only that, but this was a sale that was going on until Tuesday. These are not my own words, this is what I was told at the time of check out. I also provided the shirt we just purchased, as well as receipt for verification. My issue is this, the employee was simply stating something that she believed to be true. But the manager whom I dealt with (middle aged blonde lady) is not fit to be in any kind of management position! I have given this detailed explanation to show how poor this business is at considering the customer. I spent money to make my girlfriend happy. I made a purchase and then went back to buy more on the word that there was a sale stated by an employee, so that I could buy a few more shirts to make my girlfriend happy. Instead I'm standing at a cash register with a line forming behind me trying to explain the totality of the situation only to have what I presume is the manager looking at me like I'm stupid. I did not compete the purchase and walked out embarrassed. Prior to doing so I said to my girlfriend (Im sorry to let you down babe but I can't afford to buy these right now, I know you really wanted them.) Meanwhile the store manager is directly in front of me, a lengthy line of other customers are forming behind me and the sales associate is obviously waiting on what the manager is going to say. I was offered nothing, I gave my receipt of the shirt I just bought 30 minutes prior and explained the situation in absolute detail. The manager stated that the shirt I had purchased was on clearance, but no others were. Well then, why did the sales associate state that "All Simply Southern shirts are 30% off". Why then, after I just purchased an item would I return with said item in a bag and spend another eternity while my girlfriend found other Simply Southern shirt's she liked. They didn't bother to ask the other sales associate anything. I provided my receipt showing the item I just purchased. What could have been an easily rectified situation is now reflecting a poor review. Not only that, but I will no longer, nor my significant other shop here again. Good job Bealls, your neglect in customer service will undoubtedly affect the profitability of your business. Don't take my word for it, look at the other reviews. So thanks Bealls, you let down my significant other, and made me look like a bad person when I was trying to get my girlfriend a couple shirts and be nice. They do have a decent meat selection different cuts preseasoned was able to get eight chicken legs for like four bucks, which is a deal in this economy The beef was more on the pricey side however it looked good and it cooked well As far as the international grocery side of things, it seemed a little higher price, which is unfortunate but I'm assuming a lot of those international groceries are imported so maybe they were affected by tariffs Overall, the staff was great helped me find something I couldn't find at checkout. They carried a decent conversation which a lot of grocery stores do not. The store was clean. I didn't have any complaints. It wasn't super busy. I was able to get in and out within 15 minutes.
