The kid not even noticing walked out playing with the toy. Seconds later the kid came back in, walked up to Lonnie and apologized for walking out with it, without paying. I saw some toys and cell phone accessories, too. The prices are very reasonable. The aisles aren't overly organized, so it pays to wander up and down each aisle to see what you can find. It's a small warehouse, so it isn't overwhelming. If there's something you can't find, just ask an employee. They are more than friendly - they are also caring. I visited in the midst of COVID-19 and employees were very sensitive to social distancing. This place is easy to find. It is located near the intersection of Sandy Plains and Canton Road.

Discount Depot--Where Respect Is Discounted Too (Especially for People from Different Backgrounds)…read more Review: I went to store to exchange a broken promotional item. Instead of resolving the issue professionally, the owner made a blatantly racist remark, saying these problems "only happen with Indian customers." When I calmly told him that was inappropriate, he doubled down and used abusive language. I left the item there as a reminder of the unprofessionalism and walked out. If you're expecting fair treatment and basic respect--especially if you're from a different background--this store may not be the place for you.

Since I didn't want to lug a massive tree around while continuing to shop, I came back later for more purchases. This time, I went to a different cashier who, to put it bluntly, looked as old as the state of Georgia. She demanded my ID for a transaction over $50. When I told her (with the same attitude she gave me) that I wasn't asked for ID when buying the tree, she shot back with, "It's always been our policy." Clearly, this isn't true--it's inconsistent and fake. If that's the policy, why wasn't it enforced earlier? The whole experience was aggravating and made worse by the cashier's poor attitude and lack of understanding of customer service. Needless to say, I won't be recommending this store to anyone. Not only is the service subpar, but outdated policies--or poorly trained staff--make for a frustrating shopping experience. It's probably time to reevaluate both your policies and your employees.

The signs on the door indicated the price expectations for certain days of the week. The bin set up is not like a traditional thrift store, but they did have shopping carts available. I also noticed a sign that said that strollers were not allowed, so I would not recommend coming with your small infant unless you have an infant carrier to let you be hands free. While browsing I saw some new striped Target heels on a shoe rack in different sizes and a bunch of random household items in the various bins. I didn't see much plus size women's clothing or clothing in general. I am sure that the items vary based on the day and time you'd come in. However, I am not sure if I would return any time soon. I left empty handed and was a bit disappointed in the selection.

This place is more like the old Cherokee Liquidators that use to be on Spring Place Rd when I was a kid. Lots of little gadgets, camping gear, BB guns, cell phone stuff and used shoes. Their prices are fare and we even got some better deals at the register. The staff was friendly and had a smile. Even the other customers were friendly during this visit.
