I honestly don't know why I continue to shop here. Loyalty I guess, I'm a former employee of dollar general ( a damn good one I might add and severely underappreciated) Most of the employees are fine, especially Dylan ( that man should be the store manager, Makin "the big bucks" he has been an amazing- loyal employee there for YEARRRRS.) I have seen/heard the current store manager blatantly disrespect and degrade her employees on the sales floor, one incident in particular, I was disgusted-I couldn't believe it- I wanted to hug the poor guy.. She is constantly complaining to not only her staff but to customers, "The work load -boohoo, I don't want to be here, ugh this mask -meh- is it time to go yet? I don't get paid enough for this s*it...ECT" I have stood in line far too long, on far too many occasions simply waiting for her to finish her rants. As a leader, she should be promoting a strong work ethic, determination, perseverance, respect, gratitude ECT. I have seen her walk away from humungus lines of people waiting to check out. Grab a drawer MANAGER!!! C'MON! What makes her time any more valuable than ours!? You don't like the work, quit, otherwise keep your mouth shut and do your job. No one cares about your problems we have our own. read more

Leadership should inspire and support--but under Tanya Gilbert as customer service manager, it does…read morethe opposite. She regularly talks down to employees and makes condescending remarks that erode morale. Even worse, she gossips about her own team behind their backs, often with the tone and pettiness of a high school clique leader. There's a glaring lack of compassion, especially toward employees dealing with health issues or personal struggles. Rather than showing basic human decency, she responds with cold disregard. It's alarming that someone so unprofessional and toxic is in a position of authority. This management style doesn't just reflect poorly on her--it reflects poorly on the company for allowing it to continue. It's hard to understand how someone with such unprofessional behavior remains in a leadership role. The company seriously needs to evaluate whether she is a good fit for a position that's supposed to represent guidance, respect, and accountability.

Absolutely the worst fill-up of gasoline that I have had in 40 years of driving. I would not have…read moregotten gas at a 7-11, but I was swayed by the Mobil brand sign. I got 18 gallons of "Special Extra" mid-grade gas. Within one minute of driving away back on to the highway, the engine started knocking so badly (knocking never happened in 12 years of owning this car). Knocking persisted, and resulted in serious lack of engine power and mileage (efficiency) until I refilled again the following day, after burning more than 17 gallons. Much less severe knocking still persists, and I have added a water-remover to the gas tank. I am planning add a fuel system cleaner as well. Oh. how I hate this fill-up! Never again at a 7-11 ! (shady owners/workers have been known to sell poor quality contaminated fuel). I will think twice before getting Exxon/Mobil either. Just hoping that this was just a bad dream.

We were left standing at the counter for several minutes unacknowledged, despite the fact that there were two people behind the counter. No one even said "we'll be right with you." Once the woman behind the counter finally was able to help us, her entire demeanor said we were inconveniencing her. We ordered the chicken pesto panini, a bacon egg and cheese on a bagel, a blackberry lemonade refresher, and a turkey club. We did not receive a receipt and the girl walked away from the register before the transaction was even finished processing. We sat in the dining area and waited for twenty minutes. A member of our party went to politely check the status of our food since we had been waiting for some time for sandwiches. She was informed that the restaurant next door "got busy." Assumably they are sharing a kitchen? I'm not entirely sure what that meant. When we eventually received our order, the same girl who took our order brought our food. She brought out a box of napkins and silverware and threw them on the table. The food was nothing particularly special. The pesto chicken was so dry it was actually hard. The turkey club ended up just being a turkey sandwich with no bacon. The blackberry lemonade refresher tasted like sour mix. I was very disappointed in this place that I was hoping to really like. I will not go back and I will not recommend it to anyone. If a business would like to acquire patronage and keep people returning, the staff might want to treat customers like they actually want them there in the first place.

I stopped here with a few people when we had some time to kill after lunch and it was right in the parking lot where we were so thought why not. Well we were all glad we did! We all walked away with really great bargains. It seemed that every aisle we went down had more clearance items. My sister found a jacket on clearance that had a stuck zipper. She asked if they'd take any more money off of it and they did! You never know unless you ask. And she says she can get it fixed fairly easy. Overall a nice clean organized store with friendly helpful staff.
