Worst Dollar General I've EVER been too! Went in to get a few snacks and drinks and yes one of the drinks I got was alcoholic and I was ready to present my id to the cashier but I am not from Texas I am from Colorado which our ids are digital via the mycolorado app.I tried to explain this to the cashier and she cut me off and said she needed to get her manager because she has never heard or seen that before,once the manager walked not even to the register but stood by the bathroom the cashier had told her that my id was on my phone and the manager said she couldn't take it because she had to scan it I had tried to explain to her that she can scan in but she also cut me off and told me no and to get out I asked for her manager number and she told me it was on the door I took a picture of the number to call on the door because I was upset and was plan on calling to complain to where she followed behind and locked the door. THIS WAS TOTALLY UNCALLED FOR. I Left and went to the shell next door and they had no problem scanning my id and selling me my alcoholic beverage. read more

This Dollar General is being cared for by employees that tell you to "Go to Walmart". We ran to this Dollar General store (04782) to purchase last minute birthday gifts for a 5 yr old. After sitting a handful of items, my girlfriend asked the cashier if they had smaller sock, the lady working the registration said " what is on the shelf is what we have." My girlfriend asked, " all I was wondering is if you knew if y'all had a smaller pair of socks, the isle is too messy to know?" She said, " I don't know I don't do the stocking maybe you should go to Walmart". Her tone was very disgruntled. My girlfriend stated the clothing department where the socks are kept is very disorganized and many packages are on the floor and all over the place has mixed with underwear and socks do you have any knowledge if you have smaller socks and I will go look him up myself. The cashier once again said if you have a problem with it you should go to Walmart Have a nice day go to Walmart if you don't like this store after she gave the receipt is what the customer service cashier said. read more

This location is always spotless and very clean. They also have the friendliest employees that I have encountered in retail in quite some time. I also appreciate the sales that Dollar General has multiple times a month. I can stock up on a variety of items especially when there is a percentage off already marked down items. read more

The older white lady should NOT be in retail. She is rude EVERY TIME I visit this store. I ask for my cigarettes, she glanced at the cigarette display case and told me they were out. I ask her to look "up there" and pointed to the top of the display because I know they keep cartons up there behind the flip up Marlboro sign. She said "up where?" I told her "behind the sign". She was visably upset. She kicked the step stool over there and was jerking the cartons around so as to show me that she was mad. After she found my smokes she asked for my ID which I showed her my drivers license she saw that I was born in 74 and said "oh youre 74". WTH? This lady acts this way everytime. I know people have bad days but I own a small retail business myself and you should always treat the customer as if youre grateful for their business. I will not shop there anymore. read more

I've been going to this store almost 4 years. The management has always been bad. Its as if they only hire inept people. the store is always dirty and I can't count the times I've had to return cold food for being rotten, moldy, bad. Some employees are very nice....but there's always that one person hired who is rude and likes to discuss customers to others in the store. Most unprofessional all around. no matter what you do for a living, take pride in it. read more

Pros: They have a good return policy with no questions asked. Good place to buy toiletries, wrapping paper, etc. They play Christian music The British manager is very nice. Cons: Dark and dingy interior. Old floors. Crowded. Aisles are not wide enough. Boxes are always in aisles. They only accept Visa and Discover - no mastercard or american express The bearded manager is rude Overall, I rarely shop here. I prefer Family Dollar for it's much cleaner and brighter environment and much bigger selection. read more

I have to say this store is horrible. You can barely walk do to clutter. They have empty boxes on the shelves. The manager Jasmine is rude. The gentleman that was at the register was doing a good job and a coupon had messed up. The lady was not nice about it. He had to go get the manager to help and she acted like he was wasting her time. She was rude. Instead of helping the other customers in line she disappeared again. A product I had rang up wrong and he was going to have to leave the register and go find Jasmine to fix the problem or to even void the product. I ended up paying the extra $1.50 so he would not have to get her help. I then left and called the store to get contact information for a general manager. Jasmine would not give it out or take my information for him to return my call. When I stated I'll just contact corporate she told me basically " do what you have to do". Maybe you could be a little less rude. I'm sure you are a little overwhelmed being understaffed. Which by the looks of the store you are. You don't have to be rude or act like being there is a burden and waste of time. If I could give you a negative star I would. read more
