We've been to others, lots of others since we travel and the departments are usually laid out in a more logical fashion, but this one just seemed a bit backwards. I can't say too much because it's Wal-Mart. It's not my first choice of stores to go to, but if you know what you are looking for, then it's fine. I started 2016 off with the intention of cutting wheat from my diet after reading 'Wheat Belly' http://www.yelp.com/biz/wheat-belly-new-providence?ylist=one-who-indulges-bulges-corinth I was so happy when a store worker told me there will be 24' of gluten free products on one aisle. There are already numerous new gluten free items in the store and several new products from Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free line and a variety of brands of gluten free baked goods, flours and frozen pizzas. There are more trucks coming in with new brands (for this area) and different varieties of brands already being carried. The meat department doesn't seem to be getting in on the update. There were 3 female employees talking directly in front of the main entrance. They never stopped talking long enough to move or even mention a greeting. I walked into the store and of course they didn't have the item I was looking for. The store is very clean but most items are so overpriced. I don't see how anyone can afford to do a weekly shopping trip there. I wandered through the store, not one employee recognized me. The weirdest part is... This Piggly Wiggly is also an Ace Hardware. So one aisle is frozen foods and the next aisle over is a paint counter. ???. When I was leaving, I walked right past several cashiers that were busy talking amongst themselves. Guess what? They never said one word to me either. I was walking out empty handed, you would think someone would inquire about that. So, once again, I have determined why I do and will continue to shop at Brooks located right across the street!
