I've been noticing this store for a few weeks now as we drive by it and have been wanting to stop. Since Angie's on South Lee closed down, we've been looking for a nice place to fill its spot. This place is more like the old Cherokee Liquidators that use to be on Spring Place Rd when I was a kid. Lots of little gadgets, camping gear, BB guns, cell phone stuff and used shoes. Their prices are fare and we even got some better deals at the register. The staff was friendly and had a smile. Even the other customers were friendly during this visit. I'm not sure this will be a weekly shopping place, but I will definitely be back to check out future deals.

Then I get to the produce and found moldy apples and oranges. Why I still stayed around to grab the few things I needed, I don't even know why... Then looking at different products, I know I could get them cheaper at Walmart or Food City. So, not fresh or low priced. Lastly, the kid checking out my groceries squished my bread. Normally, I'm pretty okay with how groceries are packed. But this is like Grocery Bagging 101. I got home and was just angry at how inadequate the service was and how disgusting the produce was. I was told about Becky's Discount Shoes and was honestly kind of skeptical. It wasn't until I…read morewalked inside and saw just how expansive it was that I became a believer in Becky's. There are tens of thousands of pairs of shoes here in every conceivable style, color, and size. I was mostly looking at dress shoes and the selection was almost daunting. Becky's breaks all the shoes down by size and then by color, making it easy to find what you're looking for. I asked a woman who worked there and she told me that the shoes come from closed out department stores, bankrupt shoe retailers, and are discontinued models from the factory. For the most part, the shoes look near brand new, with some being fresh out of the box. Some pairs have a bit more wear to them but are still in perfectly fine condition. The prices are very reasonable too, for instance a brand new pair of dress shoes were around $30-$50. I spent at least an hour inside and didn't even make a dent in the their total selection. If you need a new set of shoes, don't discount Becky's Discount.

The aisles are clutter with carts of unopened freight with usually only one person attempting to restock shelves and you can see boxes piled to the ceiling in the back room. The few employees seem overworked with low morale but they are still courteous and somewhat friendly. I like the prices and the merchandise when it's available but, I've stopped going to the one on treasury and instead drive across town to one of the other dollar tree stores. This dollar tree is FAR superior to the one over off Paul Huff (see my other review). This location has easy parking and the store is WELL KEPT! It's always clean, there is never carts or boxes of unpacked merchandise all over the place, & it's always well stocked & well maintained. There is always a few people shopping, but never long lines at check out. The cashiers are always friendly and seem to enjoy working there (versus getting moody & annoyed). The aisles are a good size & well organized and I always feel safe shopping here (unlike the other location in town). This store is 15+ minutes out of my way (I live near hopewell) but this is my new dollar tree from now on.

What is wrong with Publix employees? Why? Not even customer service or just plain friendly!
