It's super easy to bring in donations as well, and it's definitely better than bringing them to Goodwill because you are supporting a local business rather than a chain thrift store. They have a lot of different things and two different rooms full of them, the first room being mostly clothes and kitchen appliances with some glassware and other decor, and the second room being mostly furniture and decorations, with some accessories like shoes, bags, wallets, etc. Not to mention that the service is always really good and the people working here are always really kind! This one is normally ok, but Dollar General seems to have problems with its computer systems in TN and this store has problems all the time. The problems don't bother me usually, but for someone passing through this may be good to know if you are in a hurry. I apologized for running late and said it would take about 35 more min until arrival. Meantime, asked Scott to proceed with measurements of specific windows since the house was open and I didn't need to be there for that part. My day was extremely challenging and I considered rescheduling but realized I had not saved Scott's number, did not know which office he worked out of. I initially, called a general Budget Blinds number that rang to a central scheduler. However, got there 45 min late. Scott greets me with sarcasm "that was hardly 30 minutes." I apologized again and shared a little about my day, 84 yr old mom in rehab with broken leg, business very wild and so much going on today! Scott replied, "common courtesy would have helped." Apparently, my sincere apology wasn't good enough for him. I was so offended by his lack of empathy, disregard for my personal choice to afford him the chance to earn my business and the fact that he made me feel reprimanded. I reminded Scott that I apologized and it appeared that he wanted to argue and rudely said "so do you want to just move on?" I thanked Scott for his time, said no thanks and left. What a horrible memory that occurred in the Kitchen of my new home! If this type of attitude is acceptable to Budget Blinds, who needs them? Certainly, not me.

It has now been almost 11 weeks and still nothing. Today is Oct 7th and nothing!

I emailed back and forth with owners Robert and Angela to narrow down specifics, and they were helpful and prompt with each response. I received email reminders leading up to our move, and a phone call the morning of our move when the truck was 15 minutes out. Robert and Robert (or Rob and Bert!) arrived right on time and ready to work. They did a quick walk-thru of the space with us, where we identified which items were going where (we had to stop at a storage unit before the home we were moving into). After that, they packaged all of our items with care, and safely loaded everything onto the truck! It took around four hours to complete our move, and at around $800 total, it was well worth the price. The two Roberts were friendly, professional, and fast while still moving larger pieces carefully. We would definitely hire A&R Moving Solutions again, and highly recommend them to anyone in need of moving services in Greater Nashville.
