Just walked out of Dollar Tree in Selma in the Walmart shopping area…read more I was looking for moth balls and asked one of the workers there that was stocking shelf's and I thought for sure she'd know . I asked her in English and she responded in broken English that she didn't speak English Apparently she's has practiced this response many times to get it right. I went and looked for the manager to ask her and she got very upset and huffy with me and tried to walk away from me when I was speaking . I asked her why they had someone working in here if they don't speak English . Her response was that she deserves to have a job and if I would have come to find someone else to ask they would have helped. Of course that's not really the answer I wanted to hear so I said if she is stocking then she would know where everything is located but if she doesn't speak enough English to help costumers why do they have her working where eventually someone is going to ask for help? The young girl manager just rudely cut me off again saying she had a right to work and if I had a problem to call corporate office..which I will because that's my right . I will never go back to this Dollar tree store again because all they do is escalate hot button topics they are not comfortable nor prepared to back up with good valid answers . They should be ashamed of themselves, now that I think of it that they are probably giving jobs to not only people who don't speak the language of America but probably are giving jobs away to undocumented illegal immigrants.

They are not $.99 or even $1.25 like the Dollar Store, but the prices are still lower than you'll find anywhere else.
