This year, 2023, a gentleman named Tim took over running the store and has COMPLETELY turned it around! It is now so clean, organized, well stocked and friendly! You couldn't get down most of the aisles before without tripping over things, it was an ADA nightmare no way someone in a wheelchair could get around in there. Now the aisles are clear! Tim greets you with a smile and a kind word and cares so much about your shopping experience. I was in there today and speaking with him and an older Hispanic woman came in and he greeted her in Spanish and carried on a conversation with her in Spanish which was so wonderful to see the inclusion and love for all people of different backgrounds and cultures. Which is not common in this area. I am so grateful this gentleman Tim came in and took over this store. He leads his team with kindness and confidence. I hope dollar general knows and values what an amazing store manager they have. Great job Tim and thank you for all your hard work!

They had ALL THE HERBS- I live in a huge city and wish our Walmart was like this. If I ever see basil, mint, or chives at my store it's like I've hit the lottery. We got great steaks, plenty of food for the week, dairy products, and nice fresh produce. Went back the next day for water balloons and water guns... so we kind of saw a little bit of everywhere.

The vegetarian selection isn't great, but this is middle of nowhere Oklahoma haha, so not surprising. The household item selection is pretty vast. I have no doubt you can find household items with ease here. Clothing as well. Parking is pretty good. There are always spots available and the parking lot is easy to navigate. The registers, namely the self-checkout is set up a little odd compared to other stores, but I'm happy it exists at this store. All in all, it's pretty much on par with the rest of the walmarts in the area: smaller selections in some things, virtually no cashiers, you know what I'm saying.

Big Giant Warehouse sells canned goods, frozen foods, sundries and other household items at deeply discounted prices because the items are over expiration date, or came from stores that went out of business. You may not feel comfortable purchasing certain items that are over expiration date (I know I didn't feel comfortable purchasing 29 cent Lunchables that were a year over expiration), but canned goods last forever and frozen foods have a much longer shelf life. I was able to get aluminum foil for 49 cents, canned veggies for 49 cents each and a box of 20 granola bars for a little over $2.00. I believe they are open from 10am - 6pm Monday - Saturday. Maybe I can take my grocery savings and go out for dinner once a week now!

Much to my surprise, I happened to be close to this Ollie's location in Midwest City while doing some shopping, so I thought I'd stop and look. They had the exact sets I wanted! And books are priced insanely well at all Ollie's! Only $10 per boxed set worth much more per book. And when I checked out, the cashier was so friendly. We talked Christmas and holiday nails. The aisles are a bit narrow. Thankfully this isn't a huge town, so even when the are busy there aren't many people in the store. Also, the grocery selection is pretty slim. This is a small store, so don't expect a huge selection of food. I like the options for clothing here. Even hard-to-find sizes are usually here.
