I find end cuts hidden the middle of it. one slice is thicker than the other an so on. So, I go back and talk to Managment oh we will do better they say nope still the same cuts it like they practice on precut before they move to counter help you. So, I stand in line for 30 to 60 mins waiting on the slowest people working behind the counter. can't win

They're only open I believe Thursday till Sunday. We also went for the hot apple cider. You can also get their fresh apple cider filled into a gallon or half gallon bottle. Their prices are reasonable. the woman in there was so nice and if you bring your own cup, they'll fill it with hot apple cider. they have apple cider donuts and turnovers. They'll be here until December. Since it was Sunday, the Amish stores weren't open. That's what I really came in there for. Overall it's ok here. I'll be back for the cider.

She looked up to see who was there, I had asked her several questions and never after the initial acknowledgment she never raised her head again. Was answering my questions with very short quick answers. I work and have been working in the medical field for 32yrs and always spoke to patients and parent with the most respect while looking at them. Family business and family owned. If this is a family member I truly hope she wasn't judging me because I had a scarf on and was not of the light fair complexion. Will continue to go back because I have ran across pleasant people in there. don't live in the area..

I know someone who used to work there, and have been told by multiple people that there meat room/deli area is very unsanitary. I have seen mouse droppings near the freezer room, flies flying past me while walking down the isle, not to mention how poor the customer service is. One person in specific, I believe her name is luanne? Not sure how to spell it, but she is very rude and disrespectful. She has no interest in how bad the store is doing and seems to only care about making higher ups think everything is going fine. I feel as if an inspector should go there when it is not expected to see the full picture of how gross it actually is. I would NOT buy meats or perishable items from this store for yourself, or your children, as there is a pretty decent amount of expired items.

I did not see any sign about dogs at the entrance, and while shopping two employees offered to help us--neither mentioned any issue about pets. Out of nowhere, an employee named Sadie walked past us, then doubled back and abruptly said, "You can't have dogs here." I politely apologized and immediately headed toward the front of the store with my dog while my partner stayed behind to pay. Instead of leaving it at that, Sadie followed me and raised her voice, telling me I "should have seen the HUGE sign." The sign was not huge--it was a standard piece of paper and very easy to miss. We have shopped here many times before with our dog and have never been told otherwise, so the hostility was unnecessary. As I continued to leave, Sadie muttered "asshole" under her breath and continued making rude comments even as my partner was checking out. Completely unprofessional and uncalled for. For the record, she also never asked whether my dog was a service animal, which businesses are legally required to do before making assumptions. Instead, she incorrectly claimed it couldn't be a service dog because it didn't have a vest--which is not a legal requirement. To make things worse, Sadie wasn't even wearing a name tag or any form of identification as an employee. If this is how management behaves, I can only imagine how other customers are treated when there isn't a crowd to witness it. We used to shop here often, but after today we will not be returning. Completely disappointed in the lack of professionalism and basic customer respect.

There are fresh fruits and vegetables, dried chiles, canned good, fresh breads, frozen foods, fresh meat, a butcher counter, cheeses - everything and more! I will definitely be back to visit more frequently and for those who do not speak Spanish, they speak English and are very helpful. Me detuve en La Plazita de camino a casa y es una tienda fantástica. No tenía mucho tiempo pero compré bebidas, panes, papas fritas y curtido fresco (los hay de diferentes tipos). Hay frutas y verduras frescas, chiles secos, productos enlatados, pan fresco, alimentos congelados, carne fresca, carnicería, quesos, ¡todo y más! Definitivamente regresaré para visitar con más frecuencia y para aquellos que no hablan español, hablan inglés y son muy útiles.

The little produce market that could!…read more There aren't many reasons for me to go to the Berlin Farmer's Market, especially now that the pet store has been gone (used to get bird millet and pig ears) for about a year(?) now. This shop is most excellent. They have a TON of fruits and vegetables for really good (borderline CHEAP!) prices. My favorites are the freshly sliced pineapple (other fruits are offered too), raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, and "overly ripe" bananas for only $1.00/bag (about 10 in there!). I use these for a snack that I make with uncooked oats and chocolate chips. The very front of the store offers freshly made (healthy!) smoothies. The pineapple, carrot, kale is my favorite. So, if you don't want to get ice-cream, pizza, etc., junk fried food at the BFM, stop in here! You won't be disappointed!
