Once at the Boost machine, the owner started yelling, "MAH! MAH! HEY! MAH!" across the crowded store at my mother. When my mom asked, "What?" the female owner started yelling, "You gave me a nickel instead of a quarter! You bring me more money! Now!" My mom had accidentally pulled out the wrong coin. She went out to her car, brought in the remaining $0.20 and left feeling super embarrassed. Today, my mom went back to Krauser's, which was empty, and got her Boost. She said to the owner, who was there again, "I really don't appreciate the way you talked to me yesterday - you embarrassed me in front of the entire store." The owner then started SCREAMING at my mom that she "knows" she was trying to leave the store with the Boost without paying and that she can "Go to Hell"!!! My mom kept trying to tell her, "I wasn't trying to steal from you - I just grabbed the wrong coin out of my change purse," but the owner just kept screaming over top of her. Who acts that way to a loyal customer?!? We will NEVER be shopping here again. Absolutely ridiculous.

Best Boost around; I pass several stores that sell it just to get it from here. The in store…read moreexperience leaves something to be desired, but as long as the Boost doesn't go down hill, I'll still make the trek to town.

It's now open under new ownership, called Hartford Market & Italian Deli, with the same menu. Granted I've only been there once since it reopened, but the sandwiches are not the same. This went from being a can't miss sandwich shop to borderline terrible.

It's typical deli / convenience store in the vein of Wawa with an Italian focus (much like, say, Roman Pantry in Penns Grove). The kinda place that's got pickles, bins of rolls, prepared foods, coffee, taskycakes, and random dinner ingredients. Anyway, the sandwiches were great, almost busting apart from so much meat. Definitely worth a try. As for the convenience store half, it might be handy if you just need milk or a box of pasta on your way home. Otherwise I suspect most people will just drive into one of the worst parking lots ever only a mile down the street and run into ShopRite. UPDATE: Christina's has since minimized the store half of the establishment, focusing mostly on sandwich and side take outs. They still have an odd collection of overpriced Italian groceries (and Boost!, yeck), supplies appear to be dwindling. Hey, they had to give it a try... So now that the focus is on the food, I'm bumping their score.
