I had to call the manager Laura to verify she was supposed to deliver. She said she had but hadn't called. Professionalism ZERO. I asked for a refund and because she didn't have money in her box I have to wait to get a check. I called to get info if it was done mind you the no call delivery. Lori was very rude on the phone told me laura was busy and would call me when if she heard anything with a sarcastic tone. I reply by saying that I did not trust that and That I would call back. Laura called back accusing me of being rude, cutting me off while spoke. I told that I wasn't going to be polite to someone who was rude. she went on how she does what she says she will. Right? like the call for delivery I hung up. Worst Customer Service EVER....

I was able to score a cute little 50's hat and a colorful ascot style tie. If we had more room in our car I would have snatched up the full set of china I found (for only $65!) and some of the cute furniture items. But Carolynne and I are already plotting a return trip to Beaver Dam just for the antique markets. Be forewarned, the Dusty Attic is cash and checks only! Bring your bank roll!

The Beaver Dam Antique Mall just kept going and going and going!…read more The "mall" is comprised of several antique sellers who each have their own little area inside the store. Once you think you are done browsing through all the shops, you notice a set of stairs leading to more finds upstairs and then a third floor! Wow, I could have spent all day here! There are various items from all different time periods and some great deals. I scored a red "train bag" with a 70's style Amtrak button still pinned to the outside. My friends Carolynne and Andy also both found some great stuff. If we had more room in our car, we would have bought some great furniture. I found a cute telephone desk and a writing desk in need of refinishing. Carolynne had her eye on a mammoth set of mail sorting shelves, which would have made a cute bookcase. This will definitely be a stop on our next trip and we'll make sure to rent a U-Haul for all of the great furniture finds.

Not impressed with this place at all. Think more "the crap someone pulled out of grandma's pole…read moreshed" versus hidden treasures. The place is loaded with "knick-knacks". The few furniture pieces lacked character, and were significantly overpriced for their state of disrepair. It's also super offsetting to walk into a store in small town Beaver Dam and to be asked to lock your purse in a locker. This isn't Chicago or Milwaukee, and even more to the point, who even steal grandma's old salt and pepper shaker collection?
