Very clean, a beautiful floral department, and big selection of fresh produce, meat, and seafood. I think this Tom Thumb is bigger and nicer inside than the other Tom Thumbs around, but it does tend to feel a little crowded. Luckily they seem to have plenty of staff on hand and aisles open.

When my groceries were delivered about 1/2 or 17 items missing. Either the store did not give to the driver or the driver intentionally or mistakenly did not leave all the bags behind. We submitted our refund request within minutes of the order being delivered on August 10 at approximately 6 PM. It was denied on August 13. It took me hours to reach Tom Thumb and finally be told that it was automatically rejected due to the amount of the refund. Just to be clear that is not what the rejection stated had I not called and pushed. They would've kept my money. Nonetheless, I was told the refund would be processed. Today is August 18. I have zero money left no food and the refund has not been issued. This is significant as like most people I live paycheck to paycheck, but unlike most people, I am totally disabled veteran. I have accessibility issues and an 86-year-old mom that also lives with me. I just say FU Tom Thumb, you screwed me and my mom really bad this week.

We came in search of Hawaiian costume items and found what we needed. I also picked up a $1 package of chocolate covered grahams (my fave). The store seems nicely organized, though there was an oddly large amount of boxes and carts with boxes stacked throughout the back of the store, as if the stocking process was interrupted suddenly. It was August 1st, a Saturday afternoon when we visited. So maybe payroll-month related? Also the floors were very muddy around the boxes. Not a big deal, but it did stand out somewhat. The check out guy was very personable and moved the line through quickly. Four stars for a good experience at a store that has things I need at great prices!

Yes, she referred to the woman that I had let go ahead of me as a dish rag I know I didn't miss hear it. The checkout girl said it twice. Other people heard it too, but nobody else spoke up because it's one of those things you don't know what to say or do I went right to the next line and then the lady with the hijab was behind me . I got to the checkout girl in that other line and I said I want to see the manager. The manager Randy came over and I told him what that girl had done and he said well she's about to get off. I'll deal with it later and that was it. He walked away. I've written to corporate about it. I'm appalled. I know there's a lot of angry people today, but it is not cool to disparage anybody for who they are. I don't care what your situation is or how angry you are. It is not cool. You are representing a company when you're behind the counter, register or whatever. You are representing who you work for so you need to check your attitude and your personal beliefs at the door when you get to work.

There were lines at all of these stations but you can see a lot of employees milling about around customer service. They always have that one person that seems to be watching the checkout lanes and directing traffic, but they never seem to call up any help when you have a bunch of people waiting.
