Beware of possible CREDIT CARD SCAM/SWINDLE with this store. Two weeks ago, I made a return to…read morethis store and was credited $3.58 for it on my Discover card. I then left the store without having made any purchases. Upon returning home, I realized the store clerk did not return my Discover card to me, and that there was a purchase of $23 + change by a stranger on my card. The usual RUN-AROUND ensued: Big Lots told me I must take it up with Discover card, and Discover card referred me back to Big Lots. Bottom line: I was SWINDLED this $23 + change by paying for either a stranger, or the employee's purchase. NOT a lot of money, but enough to warrant warning others to be aware of this situation. Big Lots did not have the integrity to check their security surveillance to determine that I did NOT make this purchase, and to determine who DID. Way to screw over your long-time, loyal (senior citizen) customers, BIG LOTS!

(Pulaski,Tn store) I've been informed by the store owners…read morethat I'm banned due to my negative feedback on their social media profile, despite my review praising their products and criticizing their treatment of customers. My mother was banned for no reason. Jr, the son, who tells people it's his store told a customer he knew nothing about the ban, she left her items and the store knowing he was lying. I suggest updating your ear/iPods to translate other languages. The owners and their family have been observed making derogatory remarks about customers in Spanish, seemingly under the assumption that they won't be understood...such as "Look at all these White people fighting over items as if it's gold". However, the lady owner is fluent in English, don't be fooled. Depending on the customer, the owners sometimes scold and falsely accuse people of damaging items or moving products. When a customer was accused in front of others, another customer came forward to correct the owner, who eventually apologized after being asked multiple times, this customer no longer shops at this store. Several other customers have reported being tired of the false accusations, and some have stopped shopping at the store. The owners have cameras, but they don't provide footage when making claims about shoplifting, but have shared pictures of shoppers accusing them of stealing, but not reporting to the police. Former employees have reportedly left due to unfair treatment and disrespect. I've witnessed customers being misled about products, and I suggest being cautious when shopping at this store. A few customers have asked about my absence, and I'm sharing my experience as they've been asking. This store has been reported to BBB and other business organizations.

I was able to quickly find what I needed and use a $1 off DG digital coupon for Aleve. Always a PLUS! I didn't browse the store much at all but it seem well stocked. Saw some clearance items here and there. Oh and the throwback Cheetos bag was the highlight! I should have bought a bag. Darn! I would come here again if ever in the area. It's pretty easy to get in and out of parking lot.
