This pharmacy I've used for years and within the last two days I've been laughed at, felt hopeless,…read moreand discouraged for medical treatment. The manager Rachel Harpst is unethical, not compassionate, and so very unprofessional. My doctor increased my dosage on a current medication. Rachel refused to fill the script, stating "to soon to fill" both times between the doctor sending it in and my insurance company calling in. Two days I had to call my insurance company over this, to get Rachel Harpst to actually read what was in front of her! I was laughed at by Rachel while explaining the need for this medication. She filled the other script that was increased. (Both prescriptions were increased) I found this odd that she's willing to fill one script but not the other? (None are controlled substances) I asked why is one filled and not the other? I was told again "to soon to fill" Rachel was not hearing it and told me "I'm not listening" just didn't care she was not filling the other one. I called and told my insurance company (day 2) what was going on and again they reached out to Walmart pharmacy to once again tell this pharmacist it needs filled. My insurance called me back within five minutes and the script would be filled in the hour. Scripts were picked up and I immediately transferred any and all scripts from Ashtabula Walmart pharmacy to Walgreens. I will never go back to Ashtabula Walmart Pharmacy while Rachel Harpst is employed there. Not only is my insurance company filing a grievance. I have filed a complaint to the Ohio Board of Pharmacy board to report her. It's disgusting to know someone like Rachel Harpst is running Ashtabula Walmart pharmacy and treats patients/customers in this manner. Thank you Rachel Harpst for discouraging myself and other patients to get the proper treatment. Laughing at someone in need of medication is another level of ignorance
