I often take the free shuttle bus over from the DoubleTree hotel when it is too hot or rainy to walk. The parking is plentiful all around the mall area and the signage is very good when looking which area of the mall entrance I need to go into. Inside the mall there is a great variety of quick service dining spots as well as sit down restaurants. The stores are nicely displayed from their large windows and open entrances. The rotating artistic works displayed are interesting and pretty. There is plenty for families to do to entertain the kids while shopping and plenty of sitting places when you get worn out from walking and need a little break. I like seeing stores here that I don't have at my local Westfield Shopping Center.

The mall will be closed by the time I exited the theater. So I had to park on the bottom floor of the garage. Then I saw the down escalators were broken from the Theater too floor. So people had to go down the stairs. They made elderly go down the side steps. Security did direct people leaving the theater. Since the main elevator down from the top floor was down too, I have no item how people on wheel chairs got down. The elevators were locked on purpose. When I got out of the movies the Down Escalators by by 8:44 pm. I did miss the first 5-6 mins of the start of my movie since I had to get Popcorn.

I ended up purchasing milk chocolates, fruit & nut candies, ref magnet and some himalayan salt. Cashier was friendly and nice. The space is not that big and can be crowded but at-least it was clean and things are sorted neatly. Price is pretty okay I guess knowing that it's a gift shop inside the airport building. Almost all of it is "golden age of travel" or airplane/airline themed so if you love travel or love that era you will love browsing this store. They also have some cute Seatle merch that is much better than what you find at souvenir shops. I learned about currency around 1st or 2nd grade. So when a Target employee, a young adult, struggled to count the cash I tendered I became deeply concerned about their education and training. She had difficulty adding the denominations, a basic elementary skill, which held up the line. The culmination of their family (parent(s) or guardian(s)), their school curriculum, and their employer failed them. I don't shop at Target as much as I used to. I just happened to be in the area. And just like Safeway, they lock stuff up like personal care items and laundry detergent. I think people will still shop here though because it's close to Sea-Tac Airport. They just won't get the same customer service and freedom to shop like how it was a decade or two ago.

So yes, staff was a bit overly chatty about the dire conditions but who can blame them? This location really needs an overhaul to create safer conditions for everyone. In terms of stock, yes, it's fun to shop here, and they have good sales - if you be sure to check the expiration date! We enjoyed, for instance, getting some topnotch bagels for 99 cents.

1 star for this Ross Store…read more I purchased a pair of pliers on May 12, 2026, and after a few uses, I returned it on May 28, because the latch broke--likely due to poor material quality. When I tried to return it, the staff member, Marcel, accused me of breaking it myself, despite my explanation that it was already defective. She even questioned why I hadn't returned it earlier, as if I would return a perfectly working item. This entire experience was unprofessional. Marcel's handling of the return process was poor, and I wish she had better training in customer service. Otherwise, she would probably be better suited in the back room organizing clothes, as she is simply not competent in serving customers. I'm sharing this with my 115 million Google readers to warn them. Because of this, I will not be returning to this store. Additionally, this woman took the defective plier and did not give me my refund. I was also not provided a new return transaction receipt showing the item was processed back into inventory. I was only given my original receipt, so I am unsure whether the return was properly completed in the system, even though the product was taken back. She just gave me the old receipt back and no money was given. Usually, after a refund the cashier would give a new receipt along with the old and the money for the refund. It's about $7.00, so I guess she can keep it, but I will not be returning. This was honestly one of the worst customer service experiences I have had at a Ross location. What made the situation worse was the attitude and lack of professionalism during the interaction. Instead of trying to resolve the issue calmly or assist a paying customer, I felt like I was being blamed and dismissed over a low-cost defective item. Customers should not feel uncomfortable or accused when returning a broken product that clearly failed after normal use. I understand store policies exist, but there is also a proper way to speak to customers. A simple explanation, professionalism, and basic courtesy would have made a big difference. The way this situation was handled reflects poorly on the store's management and customer service standards. The worst service I ever had from this Filipino (Asian) woman.
