There was one person working, but I only had to wait about a minute to see him. I provided him my DL to look up my reservation. He handed me the key in a minute, and provided the instructions on where to pick up the car and how to return it. I also got two class free upgrade for being a Avis President Club member. Upon reaching the designated spot, our car was there, totally clean and full gas tank. The car was in pretty good condition. We used the car for 3 days without any issues. For return, I took the car back to Avis' designated area. I took the keys back to the counter and handed over the key. That was all I had to do. It was such an easy no hassle process. I received my receipt in the email couple of hours later.

We appreciated the convenience of the key drop-off box, but we weren't sure whether we would receive a receipt. Thankfully, one was emailed to us later. I didn't check the email receipt, which I should have, because I got in at midnight and forgot to check it later since I was on vacation. Upon returning the vehicle, I noticed after I got inside the gates the price was almost $200 more, almost 40% higher than the original cost. A manger reached out to ask about my experience so I informed them extra coverage was added and asked if they could look into it, to which they said they would. She and people like her is definitely the reason that I use Enterprise Rent-A-Car. I will definitely be returning to the airport for more family events and I know for fact, She will be my contact person. She kept on top of every situation and greeted me when I returned the vehicle. A quick review of the terms and conditions (attached) clearly spell out that they have no responsibility to actually have the car they allow you to reserve.

This was one of the more loosey-goosey car rental experiences in all of my travels. She told me that she doesn't know which stall the car was parked in, but to just hit the panic button on the key fob when I get to the parking garage. I was given a black Jeep Compass. I looked at the license plate on the key tag and was able to locate it without having to use that panic button. Since I was traveling solo, it was a bit more car than what I had reserved or needed. Although it had over 30k miles on it, it still drove perfectly fine for the duration of my trip. On my way home, I gassed up the car and parked it in an Avis/Budget stall. I noted both the stall and the mileage. When I dropped off the keys at the counter, the guy didn't seem to want either information. All he asked was if I had filled up the tank. I like visiting small towns, but sometimes they're a bit too nonchalant compared to what I've been accustomed to while living in a big city.

"This is a known problem" followed by a dismissive attitude and zero support. Enterprise continues to invite customers to leave vehicles in what their own staff admits is a high-theft area. No warnings. No security improvements. No accountability. After dozens of rentals from this location over the years, I'm shocked at how poorly they handled this. Regional manager or Corporate please get involved. They know exactly how many reservations they have for each day. Instead of staffing accordingly, they went opposite by combining all three rental kiosk (National, Enterprise, Alamo) to one and with only 2 staff to handle reservations. Over 60 people deep in line. Tempers obviously flared by many in line. I've been top tier status for over 12 years and always enjoyed renting with National. This was the first time ever that I experienced such disorganized mess. Executive elite means nothing and reserving luxury class meaning nothing. Get in line and You get what you get. Got a large SUV with 68,000 miles on it. Previous Damages all over, car semi clean, passenger air control doesn't work. I'll continue to rent from National but learned my lesson not to at Burlington location.

Since we really needed to go, we sucked it up and just wiped down all the surfaces with antibacterial wipes as there were a lot of dust and stains. Clearly the car was not detailed. The external/body had multiple dents and scratches. I wish I had taken "before" pictures. I was so disgusted that the thought of pictures didn't cross my mind until after we were already in the road! I'm pretty sure I'm not blond but found long bland hair in the seats and floor mats! I've attached some photos to this review. Need to find a gas station that might have a vacuum cleaner ASAP!

Today I showed him the usually card, without touching it- with a sarcastic- more of a racist look on his face- and said "we don't take debit card here." I was clearly surprised cuz it was only a couple of months ago it was fine- he said policy changed since Jan, 2, 2017. Clearly 2 months ago it was fine. I understand policy does get changed- and I would of so given him a credit card- but his customer services gave it up. Never again will I rent from you thrifty- and I do rent very often from you.
