My go-to drink is a tall diet and vodka... their tall is very small. It does not last me very long.... The drinks are not weak or strong- just average. Prices are about typical for the area of town. Definitely cheaper than a bar downtown. The bar itself is small and clean. Plenty of seating along the bar and at high round tables. Bathrooms are old, but clean. There is a jukebox, but fortunately the music is never very loud. If you are looking for a casual night out with friends, chilling and talking, Rootie's is a perfectly acceptable place to go.
