The restaurant manager, the hostess and the waiters were very attentive and their service was exceptional! We ordered a bottle of wine, and our waitress did an amazing job with the presentation and made sure that our glasses were topped off. She wouldn't even let me pour it myself. She was very attentive and courteous. The food and plating were phenomenal. The dishes we ordered were quite heavenly and just the right portions. There is a QR code you can use to view the menu and place an order. The kitchen receives the order immediately. I barely put down my phone when my jamon iberico appetizer came out. Toward the end of the meal, you can simply open the tab again and pay from your phone -- no need to flag down waitstaff which can culturally be a slow process in Europe. Note: This is a touristy spot, as evidenced by all the English-speaking customers downing pitchers and pitchers of sangria. Who cares about this "socarrat" business when you have sangria, right?

Everything is beautifully presented and they handled our large group with ease. Definitely make a reservation, especially if you've got a large group. They may not have a Michelin star, but they're as good as or better than any place I've been that has one. If you're in the main part of Barcelona, it can be a trek out here (it is SO worth it), but if you're staying by the convention center and its nearby shopping mall, it is an easy walk and I haven't found anything else in the area that comes close.
