This was our first time in Spain and the very first restaurant we tried! Everything was perfect! I…read moredon't recall our servers name but he was very friendly and was able to understand us. We tried speaking Spanish but weren't doing that well Every food item we got was amazing. We had never had Paella before and we got the chicken and vegetable one I believe - this was an awesome meal and a great way to start off our trip! The price for all that we enjoyed made it that much better! We got 2 desserts, an appetizer, an entree and a few alcoholic beverages. Very good price for the quality and amount of food you get. The restaurant was very bright and open and just a lot of fun and good energy. We would love to come back next time we visit Spain.

Upon your seating at the table, they welcome you with a glass of champagne and bread. Since we were a big group, we ordered many different plates and tried a wide selection of the menu. My personal favorite was their tuna dish with red pepper. Once we were finished with our dinner, they offered us shots. At first, we were hesitant but other guests looked over to us and encouraged we try it. They also offer various desserts in small servings. Overall, we spent around 2.5 hours at this restaurant and the environment provoked beautiful conversation.

We stumbled upon this restaurant, while trying to get an Uber to go the main town center with more…read morerestaurants and shops, but all the Ubers kept canceling. I guess it was meant to be. Cheche was one of the more expensive restaurants that we've eaten at in Barcelona, but it was well worth it! The ambiance was great and we loved the interiors. Apparently, this place fills up fast so you'll need to make a reservation. Fortunately, they could seat us at the bar, which faces the kitchen. You can tell the quality of the restaurant by how clean and how organized the kitchen is. The restaurant was still pretty empty when we got there because they had just opened for dinner, so the kitchen staff were just standing by their stations but you could tell they were ready and waiting. The restaurant manager, the hostess and the waiters were very attentive and their service was exceptional! We ordered a bottle of wine, and our waitress did an amazing job with the presentation and made sure that our glasses were topped off. She wouldn't even let me pour it myself. She was very attentive and courteous. The food and plating were phenomenal. The dishes we ordered were quite heavenly and just the right portions. We ordered the following: * Grilled monkish trunk with squid, peas and Iberian dewlap * Grilled hake with Beurre Blanc, white asparagus and spring "ceps" * Pulpo A La Brasa (Octopus - this was probably my favorite) We had the pleasure of watching the staff and kitchen manager do their magic. The way they plated every dish, and their communication and teamwork - they were a well oiled machine. We were very fortunate to have found this restaurant. This was truly the highlight of our entire holiday in Spain. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will certainly be back. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Le recordamos al caballero que tomó nuestro pedido después de que terminamos otros platos. Dijo que saldría pronto. Esperamos otra media hora y todavía no había cerveza ni ostras. Food. Service. Ambiance. Yes. Yes. Yes…read more The first night we went without a reservation but they managed to accommodate us in a lovely private room. That was a great start to a delicious meal that everyone enjoyed. I wish I could have tried all the appetizers. In hindsight, this might be the way to go! The food and service were so on point that our group went back a second time (with a reservation) in our four days in Barcelona. This time we ordered the epic Chocolate Bonsai dessert to cap the meal. It had a satisfying amount of chocolate with textures and tastes that leave you wanting more. I shared this dessert... and wish I didn't The noise level was high but otherwise this one scores high on every aspect of the dining experience!

Everything is beautifully presented and they handled our large group with ease. Definitely make a reservation, especially if you've got a large group. They may not have a Michelin star, but they're as good as or better than any place I've been that has one. If you're in the main part of Barcelona, it can be a trek out here (it is SO worth it), but if you're staying by the convention center and its nearby shopping mall, it is an easy walk and I haven't found anything else in the area that comes close.
