It was worth writing home about. Slightly tougher than a filet mignon, but oh so food flavor. Definitely try if it you've never had it. Also had camel and rabbit and boar filets. Wish I could have tried them all. Everything was top notch. So good in fact I went back the next day and got the Bismarck burger. It's the one with the black bun. So great. Much better then nearly every burger you could get in the states. I'm glad I didn't find this place sooner. Otherwise I'd have eaten here every night. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

The staff is nice and efficient, and communicating with my very limited Italian was just fine since most of the staff is comfortable in English. I'm in Pordenone once a year and will be back to Al Boccon Divino for casual meals.
