He was always so respectful and knowledgeable through everything I had going on, and made me dig deeper into knowing and being my true self. He's very professional and I would recommend him to anyone who is seeking any marriage or family advice.

It seems that some of his friends, colleagues wrote a lot of these, especially on Google. Yelp at least dismissed the friend/colleague reviews. Won't do THAT again! That said, we went to couples counseling for around 2 months with Aaron. I found him to be disengaged and bored at times while listening to us. I felt that I should hang in there. We discussed a lot of disagreements we were having with parenting, honesty, etc. We'd have a 50 min session(not an hr, but they charge hourly) talking about some serious issues, but then no circle back to those issues in the next session, so nothing resolved, just bromides about how we all disagree a lot. Yeah. As the sessions went on, I noticed Aaron taking sides and talking about how women impose themselves on men. He asked my husband how I do that! No kidding. The next day I emailed Aaron and asked him why he said that. He said "I see 3-5 clients a day and didn't remember saying that." I ended the sessions after that. No. I would NOT recommend Aaron, particularly any women who don't like to be judged and stereotyped.

However, like many, I ran into a lot of obstacles as I reached my forties. Death of family members, the separation of a friend, children that have disowned me, and much more. At the time, I thought I was handling these issues in the proper way. I was praying, reading the bible, trying hard to forgive, and finding myself failing repeatedly. Around March of 2021, I told my wife I needed a counselor. I just knew I needed some help navigating my pains and struggles. I searched for a while but found nothing that seemed to fit. Then one day, I was reading our small local newspaper and saw an ad that Katherine had posted. It did not say much, but I knew I was to call. Thank goodness I did. There were a couple of things that threw me off initially. First, I was expecting to go see a counselor and sit in a chair to vent all my frustrations. Instead, she used Telehealth. I was used to this in business but had never really considered it for counseling. It was very convenient, saved travel time, and was like I was in the room, but from the comfort of my own surroundings. Second, I immediately began to understand that it was not counseling but was "Soul Care". With Katherine's help I was learning how to properly handle all that life was throwing at me. And to really hear what God was saying about all the issues I was dealing with. One of the methods she used is called Brainspotting. Honestly, I recoiled at this word initially. However, I found that it was a very practical way for me to focus my attention to allow God to reveal important truths to me. It was actually quite amazing. Over the following six months, my life was flipped upside down, in a good way. Katherine has one of the most awesome gifts I have ever come across. She let me talk and then in an understanding and gentle way navigated me through some of the darkest places in my heart and soul that I had never even thought to touch. Being led by Holy Spirit, she is able to ask questions and make statements that I was unable to even consider. As I answered, I began to see some of the causes for my innermost pain. With her help, I was then able to process them, repent where necessary, and come to the closest relationship I have had with God in a long time. I also should mention that I did a lot of work on my own, at Katherines direction, that was very hard. Looking into yourself can be a painful but revealing process. However, I don't think it is an understatement to say that it was truly a miracle. The discontent, unhappy person I was a few months ago is now quite the opposite. I would encourage anyone who is questioning whether to work with Katherine, to not hesitate. Why wait to be the person God made you to be.

Jenn's insights are incredibly valuable and the knowledge she has to help me understand the brain mapping is priceless. I have been experiencing sleep issues and although we are in the beginning stages of treatment, I am finding that the insomnia that typically keeps me up for several hours during the night, is slowly subsiding, where I can go back to sleep relatively quickly and easily. I am excited to continue with the therapy and get more relief from this condition that has taken a toll on me. The other thing I really like about the Neurowellness Center, is it is a more intimate environment than some of the other centers I visited and has previously considered in Denver. The center has its own private infrared sauna that I have access to and this is an incredible feature to be able to use, especially since I have a clotting disorder and the infrared Sauna helps immensely. Jenn definitely cares for your well being and her passion for my health is extremely appreciated and very motivating. I love NeuroWellness Center and it is quickly becoming one of the main things that I look forward to attending each week as I continue on this path and get the results to better mental health and a better life in general. Highly recommend anyone in the Denver location to check this out, well worth it.
