Our almost 7 month old chihuahua mix puppy loves her twice weekly walks w/ Sarah! We want her to learn to walk well with other dogs and she gets to be with a golden retriever and a yorkie, which is fantastic (a big and small friend). And she walks in a different neighborhood than our own which is also great for her stimulation and being away from her zone as to not have separation anxiety. The app they use is easy to cancel or add a walk when needed. You also get updates during the walk which is both cute and helpful. Karen (the business owner) came to our house before the first group walk to do an assessment and also shared some good pup advice, that, along with the good screening was appreciated! read more

We have used DogZenergy to walk our dogs for several years now. This is a really exceptional service. All of their dog walkers are super caring and friendly, professional, on time, and just great with dogs. We give DogZenergy our highest recommendation and thank them so much for all their care. read more

AMAZING, dog-loving people you'll ever encounter. I had one of the owners dog sit many years ago when she was starting and I needed their help again. They no longer over night visits but Carlee was so kind enough to reach out to someone who she trusts so that my dog and my cat will be taken care of. They also watched my dogs when I'd go the the LJ Farmers market. Wonderful service. I highly recommend you give them a try. Thank you for everything! read more

Brittany and Dog Zenery were a life saver. A friend of mine went into the hospital for an emergency procedure over the holidays and I was out of town and could not assist in taking care of his dog who was left at home. I called Dog Zenergy and within a few minutes she was headed that way and not only was able to feed and walk but actually took took the dog back to her house to take care of her. Truly a blessing and literally a life saver. Could not recommend highly enough. read more

Wonderful experience! We took on dog sitting for a very sweet but full of energy puppy. We were challenged with walking him and DogZenergy and Carlee were Life savers. They were able to change schedules and come the same day and adjust again when we decided he needed them twice a day and then again to make them longer. Everyone that came was professional and friendly. THANK YOU!! read more

Totally love this service and everyone who works there. They obviously love dogs. My dogs are taken by either Brandi or Molly so they really get to know my dogs. I use them to take both dogs to the dog park and/or for an hour walks. It's a life-saver when I'm busy, and can't take them myself. My dogs are so happy having this extra "play time" with other dogs. They come home exhausted. And, everyone knows, "a tired dog is a good dog." I recommended DogZenergy to my neighbor, who is older and has a big, energetic dog. Now, because of this service, this dog gets walked much more often, and is very happy. It's so easy to get the dogs on a schedule. I don't even need to be home. So glad I found this company. read more

This company is "family-owned". It's small, personal and created from a love for animals. Brittany helped me locate and adopt a puppy 2 years ago and has since worked with my dog Koda a few times. It's amazing to see how easily & quickly she connects with our precious creatures. It's rare to find people like Brittany who discover their true calling at such an early age. Brittany is a natural with dog training and has created her business to duplicate her love for pets. You can be sure the owner behind this company has your pups best interest in mind! Your dog will get more than just a trainer/sitter when you hire DogZenergy!!! read more

I'm so happy I found DogZenergy! I needed someone to walk my dogs at least one day a week when I know I'll be working long hours. Carlee has gone above and beyond with arranging all the details and working with my schedule that changes frequently. They did a free evaluation and arranged for intro walks so the dogs will be familiar with whoever is walking them! I get updates and pictures during the walk, and they also "check in and check out" before and after the walks. Everything is done through a convenient app, and it's so easy!! I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a caring and responsible dog walker!! read more

Two words to describe DogZenergy: As advertised. From start to finish the process with Karen and the DogZenergy family was simple, friendly, and comforting. Rarely do you get the personable and quality face time with one of the owners of a company - especially one that's been around for 10+ years. Karen took the time to not only show up for an extended time, but she also really got to know Gus (the pupper) and our habits, preferences, and his behavior to tailor a recommendation. For anyone looking for a high-touch, consistent, and people friendly walker- DogZernergy is pretty much a no-brainer. read more

Awesome crew of dog people. Trustworthy, compassionate, and true animal lovers. If you're looking for pet sitting or walking, these are your guys! I wouldn't trust anyone else with my fur children!!! read more

Everyone at Dogzenergy is fantastic. I couldn't walk my active Golden retriever Dempsey when I broke my foot and in a cast and on crutches. Dogzenergy quickly fit him into their schedule with daily lunchtime hour long walks. Although at first he was reluctant to leave his temporarily disabled mama behind, the walker's sweet encouragement and treats quickly grew the walks into Dempsey's favorite time of day. Always reliable and upbeat, the walkers of Dogzenergy are trustworthy and the handler app lets you see when they check in and out and even the route they've taken. Photos and texts let us know about the doggie's walk and daily habits! When I was traveling, Karen was extremely accommodating and sent the walker's schedule a week in advance so my parents would know what time to expect them. And the Dogzenergy blog is great to learn about training, local vets and events. I Highly recommend the wonderful gang at Dogzenergy for your beloved furry pals. read more

If you've been looking for a service that reliably will pick up your beloved dog once or twice (or more) a week - or just come and walk her - then DogZenergy is the group for you. Outfitted with the most mature, loving young people in San Diego they have been picking up Wills for five years now, giving him a "Small Dog" Socializing Adventure that leaves him happy, calm and ready for an afternoon nap. On his scheduled days all I have to say is, "Go wait for Brandi, you're going with your dog friends today." Wills patiently watches at the window for when that wonderful truck covered in DogZenergy Logos hits our driveway: he barks; waits for his leash and off he goes for another great experience. I can always anticipate some feedback from Brandi on how Wills' day went - boy am I a proud Pet Mom! DogZenergy is as good as Dog Care can get. read more

I have recently started using DogZenergy to help with my puppy. I absolutely love this Company! The owner, Karen is extremely nice, caring and reliable. Leslie, one of the dog walkers is so genuine. She takes great pains to take care of your pet as if it was her own....truly special and sweet. It's so nice to have a place with caring people to rely on when you truly need a hand. Thanks DogZenergy, Karen and especially Leslie!! read more

I have been using DogZenergy for years and have nothing but great things to say about Brittany and her team. Unfortunately, I recently had to move to LA, and only hope to find as competent, dedicated, and professional trainers there. I met karen through my job and the shorehouse she would always come in with different dogs. Any questions I had she'd always offer advice and listen. When I finally found time to I did a session with her and my then almosy 1yr old amstaff Aida, she had problems with pulling and jumping. And let me tell you!!! Within minutes Aida was responding to her and listening, it took practice but I can now walk my 60lb amstaff with slack in the leash, I also can feel calm knowing she knows to not jump especially with my 5yr old. I couldnt have got here this soon without her amazing help! Thank you Karen for helping me enjoy walks with my girl:) read more

I would not have been able to adopt a new pup without Dogzenergy! My rescue of 8 months has been a challenge - and Dogznergy has been been able to help me with their awesome team (especially Carlee and Brandi) by daily walks, sometimes night time walks when I can't leave work, on weekends, and overnight petsitting! I work long hours and have a high energy rescue dog, but with Dogenergy I am able to have a new fur baby and not worry about how to get her exercise in. And I'm still able to travel for work and vacation with their help! I feel good knowing that she's in good hands. read more

Absolutely amazing! We have and will continue with the DogZenergy training and are planning on Doggie and Me Boot Camp! We had tried two other "positive reinforcement" trainers who maybe could train dogs but were terrible at communicating with people (mainly me, the owner). Thankfully, we met Brittney from DogZenergy! Her positive attitude coupled with her easy to understand explanations makes her the amazing trainer she is! Thanks Brittney for all of your help! -Dolly!! read more

Teddy loves the ladies of Dogzenergy! My husband and I work long hours and travel alot. We love (& spoil) our golden retriever like a child so it was very important to us that we find the best caregiver for Teddy. Our neighbor in La Jolla (we just moved down from LA) recommended Dogzenergy so we set up a meeting with Brittany. We have been her biggest fans for a year now! Teddy does daily dog walks/jogs, goes on field trips once a week and the staff have all spent weekends in our home watching him. They take such good care of Teddy that I never worry when he is with them. They even send texts & photos of how he is doing and his adventures with doggie friends... we call them "the Labs Who Lunch" read more

Brittany is cute, young and sickly sweet - but my first experience was my last. I met her for the first time because I had a 9mo old terrier that needed to be house sat while i went out of town for a wedding. I met her to have a one on one to meet my dog and at the last minute she phoned to tell me she was over booked but had an "assistant" that she works with that was available. I met her briefly the night before i was supposed to leave to give her a spare key and show her around the house. This girl "Katia"? looked to be about 19 yrs old... but DogZenergy was recommended by my vet - so i trusted her. Bottom Line - I called several times while in Park City for a wedding to check in - no returned phone calls. I was totally stressed out that i didnt get any feedback or even a text. (it was my first time leaving him for an entire weekend). When I returned on Sunday afternoon - they keys were left on the kitchen table and there was seriously 5-6 dog poops all over my house! My bed was torn apart and both my antique throw rugs had been shredded. He had evidently been left alone almost the entire time. This is disgusting and an awful thing to do. I called and left several messages for Brittany to call me - but no returned calls. I would NEVER recommend this young girl to anyone. read more

My dogs and I give DogZenergy two thumbs and four paws up! One of my beloved pups has a lot of behavioral issues. In recent years, we've had 4 different trainers, a behaviorist, and done a board and train program. No one could make significant progress with him- until we met Brittany. She has a true understanding of dog psychology and behavior. And she's just as good at working with the owners. She's patient and great at instruction. Most of all, she's sympathetic to frustrations and always has encouraging words and new ideas. We have attended the Doggie & Me Bootcamp (so fun!), had individual training, participated in pack walks, and used the house-sitting services. Lisa has stayed with my dogs and they absolutely love her. I'm a bit of a worrier and Lisa cheerily obliged my texts and phone calls to check in. What really sets them apart is that you can tell they really care about the well-being of your pets. My dogs and I are all more "zen" since we found DogZenergy. read more

I'm thankful to have found DogZenergy for my French Bulldog. I traveled with him to San Diego for a conference and knew he would have a long day in the hotel. DogZenergy was willing to work with us on picking him up from the hotel while I was in class. They were fast to respond during our scheduling, I got great pictures and updates throughout and after and he was perfectly happy when I was able to get back in the evening. It was such a relief to me to ensure he was happy while I attended my class. read more

Karen is a fantastic trainer! My husband and I have been using DogZenergy's in-home training services for over a year. We rescued our dog from Baja Dog Rescue about 2 1/2 years ago and since we moved to more central San Diego (out of the suburbs) a year ago we noticed significant behavior changes in our dog, especially around other dogs. Before we heard of DogZenergy from a friend, my husband and I were about to rip our hair out. Karen provided such wonderful insight into our dog's mind, especially being a street dog rescue, and she had SO much patience with us! We have been using all of her training techniques consistently and they truly are effective. We also really appreciate Karen's flexibility with our changing work schedules and the "tune-up" sessions. I highly recommend DogZenergy for dog training- Karen seriously changed our lives. read more

This company was wonderful. Very professional to me and loving to my dog. He attended the big dog park sessions multiple times a week, as well as was kept overnight in my home (which included medication administration). Both services were great and gave me peace of mind knowing my pup was taken care of while I was at work or away for travel. I recommend to anyone needing care for their pets. read more

They are the best dog company in San diego. I had to go out of town last minute and and they watched my Jack Russel for 3 days. I came back and they did a great job with him. Everyone at DogZenergy is just fantastic ! 3 years ago we worked with Brittany after we got a Bernese Mountain dog puppy. She was very patient with both the dog and us. I contacted them again because we were planning some overnight trips and Karen responded to my email within an hour and them came to the house with Carlee who was our assigned pet sitter. We scheduled a couple of walks with Carlee to let our dogs get comfortable with her and I was really impressed with how she worked with our girls. One thing is clear, everyone involved in the business really loves dogs and they absolutely know their business. I would much rather watch a show with Brittany training dogs than Cesar Milan :) Karen is marvelous at communication and scheduling, she does everything she can to accommodate any request. Carlee, who was our pet sitter for a weekend and then 10 days is an absolute delight. She is bright, enthusiastic and like Brittany and Karen an absolute dog person. read more

Every dog should be a Zen Dog! This is by far the best service I have seen in any category. We have been using Dog Zenergy in LaJolla for our shar pei puppy. Each day, they pick up our dog and take her to the dog park. She socializes and plays with a different group of dogs every day. The girls who take the dogs don't just sit and watch, they make sure the dogs are getting along and playing and running the entire time. They drop her off happy and exhausted. Brandi, the driver and play supervisor , is friendly, punctual and plainly loves dogs. We have used the training and dog walking services with the same excellent results. All booking and payments are conveniently handled with an app online. The owner Karen is very much involved in making sure your dog and you have a great experience from the beginning with a complimentary 'meet and greet'. Their prices are reasonable and well worth every penny spent to keep your dog social, playful and well behaved. read more

What a fabulous choice we made for our new puppy Scarlett...DogZenergy. We have used them for several months now. They come in the morning to take her to the dog park and come back in the afternoon for a 60 minute walk. They are consistent, kind, thoughtful in answering my crazy questions and most importantly, Scarlett is very happy to go with them. Carlee, Lara, Jacob, Kristen are amazing. They make sure she has her water and food dish after they drop her off and let me know of any possible concerns. They are prompt in answering text and calls. You won't be disappointed!! Thank you DogZenergy for taking such good care and loving our new family member. read more

I can not say enough about DogZenergy. Karen has been so helpful with clear, common sense and expert training advice for our labradoodle puppy. The staff care for your dog as if they were their own. I learn something new about caring for and training my puppy every time I chat with them. Molly, Brandi and Karen calmed me and took wonderful care of our puppy when I had to go out of town. When I returned there was a lovely note and flowers. I received a picture and email update every day. Karen couldn't be kinder or more accommodating. 5 stars to DogZenergy. read more

DogzEnergy is amazing! I use them 5 days a week for my French Bulldog, Winston. He gets walked three days a week, and goes to the dog park two days a week. Karen, the owner, personally did an initial "meet and greet" with me and made me feel so comfortable about having her team take care of Winston. All of the DogzEnergy walkers are incredible! Sweet, reliable, and very professional. They make sure to send me pics and a little message everyday about how the walk was. DogzEnergy has been nothing but wonderful--I am BEYOND GRATEFUL that I found them and that I can count on them to take such great care of Winston! I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone needing dog walking, pet sitting, or training! THANK YOU SO MUCH DogzEnergy!! read more

Our family has a particular story to share about how Karen and her exceptionally trained team of dog walkers helped us. Richard, a man in his late 80s, owned Teddy and Dottie, labradoodles. Karen and her team came over daily for years. The dogs waited looking out the window for the walkers every morning. When they arrived, Teddy and Dottie jumped for joy! After several years, Dottie passed. Teddy was alone and Richard decided to move into a condo which did not accept pets. In order to keep Teddy as his emotional support dog and bring him to the new condo, Richard asked Karen to train Teddy as a support dog. Karen herself came several times a week to prepare Teddy. Within a few months, I can honestly say that Teddy was a changed dog. He was totally under control in all situations. Karen even took him to retirement homes where he could interface with tenants/patients, ride in elevators, and be present in dining situations. Just prior to moving into the condo, Richard's reduced mobility necessitated that he give Teddy up. No family could take him, so he decided upon adoption at the San Diego Humane Society. Richard was told that because Teddy was a support dog that getting him a home would be easier. And this was the case. A retired doctor needing a support dog came down from San Francisco and adopted Teddy on the spot. Had it not been for Karen, our lives and Teddy's would not have had this happy ending. We are a big fan of Karen's, needless to say. And of great importance, we always knew that when we left our property unlocked for the dog walkers, that our home and our belongings were safe. read more

I cannot recommend Dogzenergy enough. I have two dogs and a cat and had gone through a local dog walking company to do my overnights and it was a disaster. (dogs were left for hours on end, came home and they were just traumatized) I then tried Rover and this time the walker brought a stranger into my home. I had all but given up on the hopes of finding a reputable service until I found a flyer for DogZenergy. I did two meet and greets with them. The first one was with one of the owners and my dog sitter Molly and the second time just with the sitter. I felt completely at ease both times and was grateful that they were very understanding of my phobia of leaving my pets after my prior bad experiences. Molly my dog sitter watched our pets for a week and I can say it was the first time in 3 years I felt completely comfortable being gone. She sent my husband and I constant text updates with photos and videos. She kept us constantly informed while we were away and it completely eased my anxiety. We have pugs and the one pug needs some TLC for his folds and eyes and she attended to that beautifully not to mention our other pug has leash reactivity around other dogs and she handled that like a pro! Also, we have a cat and I felt that prior sitters neglected her. Not Molly, she brushed my cat and gave her just as much attention as the dogs. She was a purring bundle of joy when I got home, not to mention her coat looked beautiful! Finally, she left my house in order, taking it upon herself to wash my sheets and even going the extra mile to pick up cat litter when we ran out! I came home to find printed photos of my pets and a beautiful framed photo. She even left me a thank you card. I was blown away. But the most important thing was that all three of my animals were super happy and content. Normally when we come home our pets take a few days to come around and you can tell that they are not happy. Not this time, I think they actually missed Molly more than us! I will be using them moving forward for all vacations and will also be arranging some weekly dog walks. read more

Dogzenergy is seriously amazing! They have been pet sitting and walking my dog for the past 2 years, and because of them, my husband and I are able to work, travel and relax, knowing our sweet boy is in the best hands. They have truly become part of our family. Every walker and sitter that has taken care of our sweet boy, has given him so much love and us a piece of mind when we're gone. They always check in and give us updates to let us know how things are going, it's fantastic!. Their technology allows you to book on their app, and even select a preferred sitter (but they are all amazing). I have never, ever left a review for anything! However, our experience with dogzenergy has been so amazing, I simply have to leave a review! Karen got us off on the right foot with some one on one training sessions with our seven month old Labradoodle, Sammie. Her tips and training were effective and worked so well! We also used the dog walking services which can be so helpful on busier days. Lastly, Sammie has been going to the dog park regularly. She absolutely LOVES it. When she sees Brandi come to pick her up she is beside herself with excitement. She comes home from playing hard at the park with all her doggie friends and is exhausted and content. She loves it so much I feel bad the days I don't send her! Everyone I have encountered at dogzenergy has been professional, responsible, kind and has been just wonderful with Sammie. DogZenergy was great!! We moved here in May and didn't know anyone to watch our dogs if we went back east for Christmas. Luckily we found Dogzenergy and they had a person stay at our house for four days with our two Springers. Needless to say we were hesitant to use a total stranger. We had a pre-meeting with the caretaker (TL) and he was great and the dogs loved him. Our dogs are on some fairly involved med programs and TL picked it up immediately. We also liked that we had the SAME person for the entire trip. Upon our return the dogs were happy and looked good, the house looked just as we left it and we were SO SO relieved that everything was in order. We will use DogZenergy from now on when we travel. read more
