price is super high compared to others. shop around there are better deals out there. saved over 100 by calling around. if cost is not an issue then you can use them. i used to trust them now they want to price gauge repeat customers. if you're a repeat, customer, expect your cost to go up every time you use their service for a septic drain and they'll use the guys of the economy to justify it even though they're competitors are 50 to 100 less. Why aren't they raising their prices? This company just got caught being greedy and now they're trying to justify it, but if they called around, they'd find out has nothing to do with the economy and just has to do with their greed. read more

I had an emergency backup that I did not realize was almost into our house on our septic system. We were cooking to celebrate an early thanksgiving on Wednesday, November 24th, 2021. I cold-called Dogtag Septic on recommendation of my mother in law. Not only were they there and working on our backup within 30 minutes, they cleared the plug in our septic line and diagnosed our cracked line as well! I met two wonderful employees who did a quick and thorough job during one of the busiest times of the year because, "That's what I would want someone to do for me if I had an emergency." We recently moved to NW Indiana, and are living in a house with a septic system for the first time. Our system was showing symptoms that indicated we needed to have it pumped out. I called DogTag and the phone was answered by Michelle, who is the co-owner of the business. She was professional and polite and offered "emergency" service at my choosing. I chose the emergency service, and they arrived in less than 2 hours. (This was at 6:30pm, at the end of a long day for them). This is a husband/wife business. The owners do the work. They were informative, open and friendly. They answered all of our questions graciously, and were very careful to clean up the tiny bit of spillage on my drivewaqy before they left.
