Vanessa came to my house to check in on my extremely shy and very skittish cat, who refuses to leave the house under any circumstances. Anyone who has met my cat knows she does not trust easily, but Vanessa was patient, calm, and respectful of her space. She still managed to connect enough to make sure she was fed, cared for, and feeling secure. The regular updates were beyond appreciated, I loved knowing she was in such thoughtful hands. Both of them consistently sent me updates, which I truly valued, especially being out of the country for nearly two weeks. Traveling is stressful enough, and having sitters I completely trusted made all the difference. When you have your first meet and greet, you have the privilege of meeting the owner and the petsitter at your residence. We take quite a few trips, and now Pet Care of SC have it down pat on what to do during hot/cold days, normal days, giving them pet meds, walks, and they even take care of your mail, trash days, take in your packages, etc! Your home and pets are taken care of while you are gone, now that's great service! I met the sitters that come to our home. They are kind, responsible and they enjoy our pets. You can book service for your pets through an app, or online. If you have any questions about it, Suzie is always happy to accommodate and help you with that too. The Pet Care Club of Santa Clarita has great rates! At the end of the trip, I like to give the sitters a tip for their time and gas. It's just a suggestion, not a requirement. Fast forward to today--my newest rescue absolutely loves spending time at her day camp and always seems happy and engaged there. The location is a bit far for us, and the outdoor play areas are somewhat segmented into many smaller playgrounds and can be quite sunny during the summer months. Still, the care, consistency, and familiarity keep us coming back. It's been reassuring to have a place we trust across different stages of life and with different dogs.

I had Susan come to my home and gave her a list of what I needed her to do as per her contract. I also told her in person that I had two windows slightly open to create a cross-draft and to keep the fans on at all times. I came home to a stuffy, dark hot house that reeked of strong pee and poop. Susan had shut the windows, turned off the fans, and left only the den light on. Litter, cat hair, and other debris were spread all over my living room and kitchen floor; gnats, litter, and cat hair were in their water bowl. She came into my house with dirty shoes and got some kind of dried mud on my foyer mat. Mind you, Susan says she cleaned everything just hours before I arrived home. I also noticed that the two big containers of fresh litter I had left out by their boxes were never used in 18 days. My cats were so traumatized by the conditions they were living in at the height of summer (110 degrees outside) that they were frantic when I walked in. They needed reassurance, affection, and fresh air. I immediately opened the windows, turned on the fans, and fed them. I spent two days airing the stench out of my house and cleaning the mess left behind by Susan. This was animal abuse. I contacted Got Paws via email four times before I got a response from Victoria. She just blew me off and said Susan never had any complaints. She basically said she "knew" Susan cleaned the cat boxes every day, changed the water every day, swept the floors every day, and took great care of my "kitties." It was all gas-lighting, not a hint of dealing with Susan, not a crumb of apology for what my cats endured. THIS COMPANY HAS NO HEART AND IS RUN BY INCOMPETENT LIARS. DO NOT RISK YOUR PETS WITH THESE PEOPLE.
