As stated in my original review, I only received texts. The only emails received was the first one confirming my original appointment and then the email stating my appointment was canceled. Don't falsely state that you tried to reach out other ways. I've checked my spam and junk folders as well. I'd challenge your claim and say prove it but that's not going to resolve anything. In the case not all customers are a "fit" for you, it would be a great courtesy moving forward to actually let your customer know you are canceling the appointment. Instead, you stated that it sounded like I wanted to keep my original appointment and then hours later just canceled with notice. Had to cancel my appointment 5 hrs before because I had the flu and they charged me a 40$ fee. Well actually they didn't even charge my card it was my friend's card who had paid for me the last visit. Ive been a client over 10 years and have brought these people so many other clients. I will never go back here I think they are very unprofessional. I'm also a hairstylist and would never do this to my clients. Sometimes things happen. The 40$ my friend disputed on his card. We have been taking our little Brady to Doggie Dental AZ for a few years now. Not only have we saved a great deal of money not going the anesthesia route, but we have also gotten excellent service each time. Brady's teeth are very clean in no time. He doesn't have to suffer through that groggy period after anesthesia. Plus we don't have to worry about him while he's under. I can't imagine anyone going the anesthesia route when this wonderful alternative is available to us. There are several places available for this service all over the Phoenix area. We get our appointments in Glendale right off 101. Can't get more convenient than that. Finally, you are getting services from a veterinarian and a technician that truly care about your pet. Whoever they have answering their emails and their phone is EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. You just lost a loyal customer of 4 years. I've been taking my two dogs there every 6-12 months since 2021. They have upped the price from $160 each in 2021, to $170 each in 2022, to $180 each in 2023, now it will be $190 each in 2025. Almost every year they up it $10. That was not the deal breaker though. One issue is they did not have ANY openings for over 7 months! I had to book both my Yorkies for January 2026 back in June of 2025, as that was the earliest slot I could find. I have checked in a few times since to ask to be put on their cancellation list, as that would put my dog at well over 14 months without a cleaning, and they recommended she come in every 6! Unfortunately, I had to take my other Yorkie elsewhere to get 8 teeth pulled last week, so I just informed them I only needed to keep one appt instead. They did that but then changed my appt from being $180 to $190. I inquired if they would honor the $180 price since that is the price it was when I booked it in June, 7 months in advance. And I would come in sooner but January was the earliest they had. The lady I was emailing replied, "I'm cancelling your appointment." I'm sorry what? Did I tell you to do that? You're cancelling a $180 appointment for me simply asking a VALID question? For asking if a company will honor the original $180 booking price I booked 7 months in advance and as a loyal customer of 2 dogs up to 2x a year for the past FOUR years? Wow. She didn't respond to my email saying don't cancel it. So I called to tell them I didn't want it cancelled, I was simply inquiring if they would honor the original $180. It was the same lady I was emailing apparently, because she immediately YELLED at me on the phone and said, "AS I HAVE SAID SEVERAL TIMES, WE ARE CHARGING $190 IN JANUARY." First of all, you said that once. I calmly said that's fine, I understand you're raising your prices, but I booked it in June and it said $180." She said, "I'M DONE ARGUING WITH YOU." I wasn't arguing, I asked ONE question and she couldn't handle it. Then she immaturely refused to respond, just sat there silent and when I said, "Hello?" she HUNG UP on me! Shady business practices first of all to do a bait-and-switch on the original price raising it and think I wouldn't notice or care. Second of all, extremely despicable customer service. To be so extremely rude and abrasive to a loyal customer over $10? It's pathetic. But now that I think about it, there was an issue the with their quality of their work also. I would have to send BOTH of my dogs back several times after they said they were "done" because they would miss so many tartar spots! When you are paying $160-180 for 30 mins, 2x a year, that is A LOT to charge a Yorkie with 20 small teeth, yet keep missing tons of tartar spots. Luckily for me, I found a NEW place to take my dogs to! They fit me in within a WEEK. They are charging $175 and then ONLY $100 if you come every 6 months after that, which is incredible. It's called CLEAN DOGGIE CHOPS for anyone interested. TLDR: Doggie Dental doesn't care about the loyalty of their customers or the pet's teeth they clean if they don't even bother to work them into the schedule they set for them. They care more about squeezing another $10 out of their loyal customers than getting the $180 they originally advertised at. Really unintelligent business practices. I am shocked they are still in business when there are better deals in the Valley where you're not treated like dirt and verbally berated for asking valid questions. It feels like a shake down of their customers to squeeze $10 more from an already high price. Claiming it is due to rising costs and acting like it's acceptable because "We haven't raised our prices in 2 years!" Whatever. I'm relieved in a way to never have deal with this disgrace of a company and RUDE lady ever again! If it was the owner, who was emailing and answered my phone call: SHAME ON YOU! I've been taking my pups to Doggie Dental AZ for about five years. While I could say many wonderful things about them, I want to focus on how they have helped my canine family through their hardest moments. Chloe was diagnosed with a heart murmur in January of 2019 and after doing a scan of her heart, putting her on the appropriate medicine, and doing follow up tests, my vet and I just didn't feel comfortable putting Chloe under anesthesia anymore, and this meant no more surgical dentals, which I saw as very bad because she was healthy in all other ways and likely to live long enough to need cleanings. After working with Doggie Dental and giving them all of Chloe's cardiac information, they successfully cleaned her teeth, making it so she never had a tooth infection and never had to risk an emergency anesthesia-based procedure for the rest of her life. Now I have another dog, Mateo, who also has a heart murmur. And again, this dog isn't a candidate for anesthesia. And again, Tracy and her team have made it so he can have clean teeth without going through what would be an incredibly dangerous procedure for him due to his heart's condition. I am beyond grateful for all they have done to help keep my pups as healthy as possible. I trust their judgment and care completely. read more

Had an AMAZING experience at Doggie Dental AZ! SO happy with how clean my dog's teeth were after and I highly recommend going here! It was quick and so nice not to have to worry about my dog going under anesthesia. Previously I had gotten an exam at Pet Dental USA and they said my dog needs to get 13-15 TEETH REMOVED and would cost $2,350 dollars. Then we got a second opinion at Doggie Dental AZ and all my dog needed was one of their no anesthesia cleanings at $170. If it wasn't for them my dog would have undergone major dental surgery to get multiple HEALTHY teeth removed when he didn't need any of it! Had a really great experience here with my Chihuahua! She was in and out in less than 30 minutes and her teeth are truly sparkling white now! The staff was very kind and kept us in the loop on how it was going. They recommended bringing her back in in 6-9 months to keep up maintenance that will prevent her having to get a full teeth cleaning at the vet. Because she is 10 years old (and also because those cleanings are so expensive and not sure what extra charges you'll see at the end), i really wanted to avoid the full anesthesia dental cleaning for her. In my opinion, because Traci (I think she is the owner) is so abrasive, if I could give zero stars that's what I would give this company. I have taken my dog to get his teeth cleaned here at least two times. The prices are affordable, but she did raise the price by $5 for my small dog. The first time I was very satisfied with the teeth cleaning. The second time his teeth looked great, but they told me he would need an "anesthetic teeth cleaning" for his third cleaning at a veterinary office. Having his teeth cleaned regularly, how is it that he would need an "anesthetic teeth cleaning"? Especially considering I use Arm & Hammer Tartar Control Dental Water Additive. In my opinion, Doggie Dental AZ was only performing "cosmetic" teeth cleaning and not doing any teeth cleaning below the gum line. When humans get our teeth cleaned it is almost always without the use of anesthesia. The procedure includes cleaning the teeth below the gum line, and we all experience very mild discomfort while they do that. I think if a dog's teeth were cleaned properly, they would do cleaning below the gum line and the dog would probably experience mild discomfort, but nothing which would require the use of anesthesia. In researching no anesthesia dog teeth cleaning on the internet it seems that below the gum line teeth cleaning is supposed to be part of the process. I think Traci is a dental tech operating under the direction of a veterinarian, but based on observation, Traci calls the shots. Because they told me my dog needs a deep cleaning, it is my opinion that my dog's teeth were not cleaned below the gum line. For the reasons set forth above, I cannot recommend Doggy Dental AZ. read more
