I've really enjoyed working with Julia. She's been great with my dog and has helped me understand him and his behavior so much better. I've learned a lot from her, and I'm really happy with the progress we've made. I'd definitely recommend her! read more

we have a one year old Great Dan, 106lbs so far! Shes a rehoming and she never had any training. We found Dog Training Anytime and the trainer is outstanding and her skills exceptional. our Dane knew no boundaries, no commands and definitely could not be walked by myself or my husband. Today, December 20,2025 I walked our Dane on leash and she was so well behaved and walks along side of me. She knows and responds to most command now. in the beginning, I wasn't sure if we were going to be able to keep her cause we couldn't control he. I will always be grateful to Julia, we have a well behaved member to our family read more

Julia is an amazing trainer. She has worked with our standard poodle in boot camp. Bodie has a strong personality and was a handful for both my husband and me. She taught him manners, how to play with other pups and she trained us how to train him. Julia is firm but compassionate. Bodie gets so excited to see her and loves spending time with her. We can't express how thankful we are to have found Julia. She is an exceptional trainer and we highly recommend her. Ken & Judy read more

I have 1 star but wanted to give zero. We have 2 boy dogs we were trying get trading for. I paid 600 dollars and only got 2 training sessions. Everytime we contacted Julia to try and make an appointment she never got back with us. When we did talk to her she tried getting us to do in home visits for more money. Before we ever started we talked with Julia and she said she would be able to help and even at our first session she still said she could help and correct this behavior. I paid 600 dollars and only had two training sessions she kept wanting to do in home training for more money. We were good with driving to her. In all fairness they were in Murrells Inlet and moving at the time. But still she said they would still be getting their training. We kept trying to get in touch with Julia to make appointments she would never get back with us. I guess it depends on the type of dog if she can help. I will not and have not recommended them to anybody. If you have the money to throw away go for it is all I can say read more

We left our 4 1/2 year old puppy, Gus, (70 lbs. of Lab/Shepherd/Border Collie/Chow mix) with Julie for 2 weeks of 24/7 training. We picked him up a week ago. Julie spent about an hour with us instructing us how to continue training, and reinforcing the training she gave, Gus. We rescued Gus when he was 10 weeks old. This week is the first time my wife has been able to walk him. He no longer pulls. He used to want to greet people by jumping on them. When we've walked him in the neighborhood he sits calmly when we stop to talk with folks. I took him to ACE Hardware today where at least 10 people wanted to greet him. (Yes, he's that doggone cute.) He didn't even hint at jumping at, or approaching, any of them. He stood still by my side or sat when I gave the command. On a scale of 1 to 10, we gladly give Julie's training a 12. read more

Just an amazing experience with my 4 year old - newly adopted Boston Terrier. My guy was assertive and reactive and it was calming for me to see when Julie handled him - he responded. Seeing this - knowing with the proper training he would become the best version of himself - gave me the confidence to push on!! Julia trained me so I could train Max and 1 month later I am so proud of us. We have a ways to go but considering where we were this was a blessing!! Julie listens!! read more

Seriously the best ! Julia started working with my dog Yogi when he was just six weeks old . She is his favorite person on the planet ( next to me of course ). She helped me to understand how he thinks so that we can have a better relationship. He is going to be eight years old next month . Her ongoing help when unwanted behaviors have popped up has been such a blessing. You cannot go wrong hiring Julia to help you. She puts the animals first ! read more

Julia was a God send, especially helping me with a one and a half year old Goldendoodle. She broke me of my bad habits and help me form new ones. Trust me it was a lot of work, especially on my part, but it is only getting better and now my house is a much calmer environment. If you have issues with leash pulling, disrespect, bad behavior or jumping...call Julia. She helped me take back control in as little as three sessions. read more

Julia was so great with our new puppy (Luna). We did 6 training sessions with her and learned so much each session. We had "homework" each week to do with Luna and added on to each session. Julia was able to modify training techniques for us based on what didn't work with our very excited puppy! I will always recommend her to anyone that's looking for a dog trainer. We are so thankful for everything we learned and used the techniques when we rescued another puppy! Thank you, Julia!!!! read more

Looks like Julia has all 4 and 5 star reviews.... after attempted contact and months of patiently waiting this review is finally and unfortunately being posted. If anyone pays Julia CASH upfront beware! In our case, us dummies did just that ($590!!) and in return received two lessons and a lot of excuses why she couldn't continue to fulfill her commitment and promises... like transmission problems, convoluted hard to understand texts, extremely busy and more excuses, claiming to have called, texted and/or emailed when in fact she didn't do any of that... just two in-home visits for $590!! Good luck to future customers... not sure how previous customers were so fortunate?? read more

Julie is absolutely amazing with her positive calm, patient, approach in working with our 6 month old Aussie, Powder and Powders' owner: me. It's only been 10 days, and 2 lessons so far, and I am completely enjoying walking my dog on leash (which had become a frustrating nightmare before our lessons) with her happily following my commands. Julie has provided an arsenal of techniques that are easy for me to follow and remember while I am working on training Powder between lessons. I highly recommend JulieDog Training Anytime and can't wait to see what we will learn in the upcoming weeks. Thank you Julie, we are so happy we found you! read more
