I've been taking my yorkies here for about 3 years with no problem. Until Jen. I pretty much paid for her to babysit my two dogs. All she did to my girl was give her face around the nose the Asian fusion cut (that I didn't want). She cut nothing else. And I mean NOTHING ELSE! Not even the nails. I haven't ever gotten a dog back from the groomer and the poop stick to the hair by their butt! As for my boy, she cut his head into the shape of an octagon! Also NOT CUTTING ANYTHING ELSE! I don't know what happen while they were there but for a few days after they were not themselves. So much that I was ready to take them to the vet! Look at the photo of the before and after of my girls cut (same day) and tell me she was fully groomed!

To Cristi C. who complains about Mr. Kaplan's methods, I think you should first show your stats as to how many dogs you have rescued and how many veterans' lives you have changed before critiquing Mr. Kaplan's training methods. He gets results, dogs are saved, veterans regain independence, and he does not harm the animals in his care in the process. Canine Angels is truly deserving of a place on your permanent charity list.

My wife was shopping one day and saw Rick (the owner of Canine Angels) playing golf with a pack of dogs off leash following him and obeying better than most people. We reached out to him to see if he could help us with Diesel. He met with us and Diesel and said he could help. It was truly amazing! Though Diesel is not a therapy dog, he is now extremely confident and has turned into the perfect dog. We can't thank Rick enough for the work he has done with Diesel and training us as well. Ever since Izzi was just a pup...I could easily tell when she was unhappy upon leaving with her where I took her to be groomed. Fortunately, it is obvious to me if she had been mis-treated. After several trial appointments, we found a wonderful, loving groomer in Florida - but now living in South Carolina, it took us a few times, but we found Jen's Ocean Drive Pet Grooming. Reasonable rates with excellent full service performed. The best part.... My Izzi is THRILLED when she sees Marissa. She shows me no signs of fear and she is absolutely beautiful when I pick her up.
