A long table, plush bench seating with small tables, high top tables, comfy chairs with tables, and a bar area make up the varied seating options. There was a piano player that was excellent, played lots of songs we knew and some beautiful tunes we hadn't heard before. Not too loud or too soft. The sound was very good, considering this is a long narrow building with hard surfaces. The service was excellent, the staff was friendly, smiling, efficient. We ordered a veggie and hummus platter and a charcuterie plate with our wine. Both were okay, about what you'd expect. The bathrooms were clean and spacious. We will definitely come back again, the place was hopping and it's really fun to have a new wine bar in downtown Owatonna!

After doing some research, we found The Landing and were sold immediately! A tiki bar? Broasted chicken? Pretzel bites? All great things. However, when we arrived the menu they had was not the same as what was listed on their website even though we were seemingly still able to complete an online order for those items. The menu on the inside of the restaurant seemed to be the same thing so we don't think it was because we were sitting outside. If that was the case, we weren't provide with that information or the option to sit inside since the hostess stand was outside. I ended up ordering the Monte Cristo, which was really good, but the portion sizes of my friends' food left something to be desired. Additionally, even though they seemed to have plenty of staff and weren't super busy, our service was lacking. I never got a refill on my water and our server didn't check back in very often. I don't think I'll be returning if I'm in the area.

One of those times was to a teen who has ARFID. There is no way olive burger even came out of our mouths accidently while ordering because we all hate olives. Bartenders/servers are just plain unfriendly, to the point of being rude, even when ordering ice water. Everyone has bad days, but even on my worst days I would never treat any customer like we have been treated. I wish the best to everyone who attends & hope you actually get the food you order. ARFID is so difficult, but even more so I hope someone with an actual food allergy will be listened to, fully comprehended, & get what they actually order for their health. The locals are just plain rude as the night progresses. If you are not part of the usual crowd, be prepared for people to be confrontational & rude, even if you are sober & just a friendly, decent human. While we will never attend or order take-out from this local bar & grill again, I hope everyone else gets what they actually order from a bartender/server who actually listens, is kind, & friendly even on their worst days.

We were made to feel welcome right away, when the server suggested the bar seating, they were quick to say unless you prefer a table, which I thought was quite accommodating, as I'm sure she was eager to get the dining room shut down, cleaned & go home. We would have eaten in the restrooms at this point, the bar sounded great. There were a few other patrons, 2 others were waiting on food. We opted to split a burrito and, on seeing the size, knew we'd chosen wisely. I loved that it was essentially 3 different takes. It was hot & hit the spot. When we left, there were still 4 people finishing up their drinks/ food. We weren't rushed at all. We were even offered another drink before going. The evening vibe was relaxed and friendly. With full bellies, we powered another hour to our hotel.

Born and raised in the city, I couldn't believe that places like this really still existed. I'd seen them on movies but never in real life. I will mention however, that I was scared shitless my first time going here. I'm one of the few black people in Medford, but definitely the only one to ever step foot in the Muni. Pretty damn scary seeing as how diversity is something I've always been a part of. Anyway, after my third or fourth time visiting, I started to ease up. Everyone knows my husband so it makes it a little easier. All in all its a cool place. Not really sure why I'm writing a review because I don't think the Muni gets very many new comers... if you do happen to stop by, just have a drink and tell them that you're an out of towner, I'm sure everyone will give you shit.
