The dogs stay outside in large pens and you can pay a little more to have them get some yard time. As far as we can tell they adhere to our feeding cycles and the dogs seem no worse for wet when we pick them up. Overall, the value is good the courtesy is meh but not horrible and they care enough at the kennel to keep my animals healthy.

This has been a stressful year for me as a human, but the bright note in the middle of all has not only been the boarding, but also the training. I now have dogs who respond to commands, walk excellently on leashes and are social with the other dogs. The reason why is simple. Lurine trained them, made them comfortable in their surroundings and kept them together. They have had A+ training and I really couldn't be happier! In fact I'm sad that I'll be moving out of the area, with no one to count on to watch my pups. Cameo Kennels is a bright spot in this little desert town.

I have contacted three different pet sitters in the wonderful metropolis of Ridgecrest. All three have NOT answered their phones and NOT bothered to call me back! What is wrong with these people? Do you have so much business that you can ignore people? You don't have many options in this little town and the ones that supposedly are in business don't care to do any work. Guess I will continue to tote my dog to whatever city I am visiting and look for a kennel at that location.

We were very nervous to leave them but she would send us updates and pictures of them every day! They all looked very happy! She had someone else, named Angela, fill in for her during one visit and Angela also did a great job. All in all we were very impressed with Kara's pet sitting! When I took my beloved Aussie, Chloe, in to them today for her summer "haircut," I asked Sherry to check her paw, as Chloe had been limping lately. Sherry discovered there was nothing wrong with her paw but suspected from the difficulty Chloe demonstrated in getting up on the table that the problem lied in her hip. Sherry added she could tell from Chloe's behavior that she was also in pain. Sherry carefully adjusted Chloe's "beauty" treatments to ensure she could groom her without causing any pain. While she was busy doing that, I got on the phone with our vet and described Chloe's symptoms. He said he suspected the Pet Boutique was correct in their assessment, told me I was lucky to have taken Chloe to such observant and caring people, and advised me to bring Chloe in asap. I can't thank the Pet Boutique enough for their help, wisdom and advice. They attended to Chloe for 4-plus hours and she looked more beautiful, relaxed and happy than I'd see her look for months. They even insisted on lifting Chloe into the back seat of my car so she wouldn't have to jump up and hurt her hip. All this for the grand total of -- wait for it -- $31! You can't go wrong with these wonderful people. Look no further for 5-star pet grooming if you live in Ridgecrest. If you don't, trust me on this: The Pet Boutique is well worth the drive. Back in…read moreSeptember I went to Bishop vet to utilize the rabies voucher given to me by the City animal shelter, when I adopted my boy. The staff was incredibly friendly and provided great service and care. My partner took our girl here to get her rabies shot and received the same care and kindness I did. These are the people you want caring for your pets. Earlier this week, my dog misjudged a jump and got caught on a jagged edge of a railroad tie. It cut his leg open by about 2 inches. I called Bishop Vet on a Tuesday past 6:30 PM and was able to connect with an emergency call line with an actual vet! The vet said that my dog would be fine until the morning but to come in first thing to be seen. Sure enough, we came and were seen almost immediately. They took Bruno to take his weight and brought him back 10 minutes later, stapled up. Dr. Milici came out and gave thorough after care and medication instructions. They prescribed us some antibiotics and anti inflammatory pills and sent us off with a cozy cone. Today I called Dr. Milici while she was in another location and she took my call right away and answered some more of my questions. That was great. I really appreciated how kind and thorough the Dr, her vet assistants and office staff were with my baby and with me. These people really do care about the animals they treat and the community they serve. It has been a pleasure coming into their office, knowing my most precious loved ones are being taken care of above and beyond. Keep it up.

They gave her a perfect, cooling cut for the upcoming desert summer heat & she's also adorable af now. My long hair female could survive in snow honestly but this heat, even in spring, had her fur matted & falling out. She needed someone who knew what they were doing & had the patience to take their time with her. And that is exactly the service she/we received. Ireland is now rocking "boots with the furrr" & the most adorable tail. I'm in love. Thanks again!
