I was looking for Ketamine Assisted Therapy for my treatment-resistant depression & bipolarity…read more Their bedside manner, specifically the anesthesiologist, is bordering on horrible. Their response time is great- Oli, the ketamine-coach, is usually available via phone and is patient and kind. My main problem: The medical staff did not look for ongoing verbal consent, they didn't explain what was happening during my intake and started putting "vitamins" in my bloodstream without explaining consulting/asking for consent. If you engage with them, be specific about your needs for ongoing verbal consent, clear medical explanations, and a bedside manner that leads to feeling respected. The MD (anesthesiologist) dismissed my concerns by saying "it's natural- it's not the medicine, it's natural." When I asked for clarity on the medical meaning of "natural," I was met with frustration and "it's things that are already in your body." Again- that's not a medical response- it's dismissive. Oli, the person in charge of guiding/coaching me through the experience, admitted that the anesthesiologist is a great doctor but lacks a good bedside manner. I was baffled- why would you allow that with severely depressed folks? Everything is paid out of pocket, which means that if they start any kind of IV bag (with or without telling you?) you are on the hook for the dollars. If you are looking for Ketamine treatments with psychotherapy, that is NOT the main thing this place offers. They do offer a legal space for therapists to come in and assist clients in a Ketamine session. This was not clear to me until I carefully read and signed their paperwork before my first on-site visit. They offer COACHING to accompany ketamine experiences. The coaches are NOT THERAPISTS OR PSYCHIATRISTS. If you are suffering, I'm sorry, mental illness is so debilitating. If you use CIT, make sure you explain your needs for information and consent as things are being done to you. READ their disclaimers. Also, they don't have encryption, so anything medical you share will not be protected by encryption. Again, I didn't find this out until I read the proverbial fine print.

It's hard to put into words how profoundly the team at CIT has positively impacted my life. While I…read morehave had previous ketamine treatments, the experience with CIT had been the most complete, compassionate, effective, and comfortable. Treatments can often stretch the limits of your comfort, and can bring up heavy feelings as you integrate your experiences and memories. You will be prepped ahead of time, and debriefed after/between sessions. The rooms are very comfortable, and you can utilize the level of stimulation (music, lights, etc) to your liking. I've only worked with Dr. Danforth as the administering physician, who is thoughtful and collaborative with dosing and care plans. I have spoken to Dr. Tibble at length on the phone, who provided me with a ton of information about their services and process. Joyce handles the scheduling and payments (and sometimes intake/IV starts), and is very responsive, kind, and skilled. The entire team exudes warmth. I recommend them highly to anyone who is considering ketamine treatment. I have been to both the Marin and Vacaville clinics, and both are great. While the entire team is fantastic, I have to give a special shout out to Oli, one of the guides. Oli has been by my side during each treatment, holding space, grounding me, asking gentle but pointed questions, and listening and reflecting with the deepest compassion and non-judgment. I can say with certainty that my treatments would not have been as effective without this guidance and support, though the ketamine itself does some pretty miraculous work (and some people prefer a solo journey). He is thoughtful, warm, and you get the sense that he truly cares about your well-being and future. I am incredibly grateful for his presence. Book a call to learn more - they are more than willing to provide you with extensive information and answer any of your questions.

If you are really ready to grow and make changes this might be what you are looking for. Ms Loletta…read more has a natural ability to connect and create a safe, supportive space. She really is so much more than a therapist, she is guidance through the tough times and a cheerleader other times. I've actually followed her from her last job. Also, she is women owned and operated.

Rather than rehashing the past, her approach focuses on deep connection, science-based strategies, and building meaningful tools that create lasting change. While I've put in plenty of hard work alongside her, the immersive, holistic process has moved the needle in real and measurable ways. While we sought and still seek her support and professional awesomeness for our growth in our marriage, and individually building better ways to think and be, a whole additional win with her guidance - I've struggled with insomnia my entire life--averaging just 2-3 hours of sleep for nearly five years--which impacted every part of my wellbeing. Since beginning this work, I'm now sleeping 5-6 hours regularly, a life-changing improvement. My partner and I initially came for relationship growth, but we've both experienced monumental, lasting personal shifts. I understand myself and my partner far more deeply, feel untethered from guilt and doubt, and carry a greater sense of peace and perspective. I've done (and shared) EQ analysis, aligned with DiSC assessment, and plenty of others... but the tools, questions, and techniques Jacqueline brings a specialized, cross-cultural lens on emotions and behaviors that have catalyzed meaningful growth for both of us. Her goal isn't lifelong dependency with her as guide--she's focused on identifying opportunities for progress, offering thoughtful, non-repetitive strategies, and empowering lasting change. There are no quick fixes--just mindful, guided adjustments that build emotional and intellectual strength over time with rapid fire focus and continuity. I always leave sessions feeling more grounded, more capable, and completely myself. Truly remarkable.

Once she was released from the hospital and was in an acute rehab facility, we went to see her after her most recent CT scan. We literally spent maybe 10 minutes in her office. She was curt and does not have the best chair side manner. I would ask questions in behalf of my mother and she was not very forthcoming of any information with regard to why my mother fell. She just kept repeating " there is no more bleeding and no more swelling in the brain " . " We're good" ... When we would ask questions about weakness in her lower extremities and unsteady gait she had no answers. When I asked about what we could do about finding the appropriate SSRI for her that might work better than what she was on now she skirted out of this by saying " not my department sorry" .. she barely wrote any Physician's notes for the Rehab facility. I felt it was a complete waist of time and my Mother's time. The Medical Assistant was very friendly and knowledgeable maybe she should become a Neurologist and trade places with her. We will be going back to her original Neurologist. I would give this Physician zero stars if I could.

There are many paths to wellness, and the right one is the one that matters to you. It's your life and your story. A major part of my healing story was - and continues to be - Debi and Neuro.
