Jacqueline is truly one of a kind. I've worked with several therapists and psychologists over the…read moreyears, but I've never experienced such profound personal evolution. Rather than rehashing the past, her approach focuses on deep connection, science-based strategies, and building meaningful tools that create lasting change. While I've put in plenty of hard work alongside her, the immersive, holistic process has moved the needle in real and measurable ways. While we sought and still seek her support and professional awesomeness for our growth in our marriage, and individually building better ways to think and be, a whole additional win with her guidance - I've struggled with insomnia my entire life--averaging just 2-3 hours of sleep for nearly five years--which impacted every part of my wellbeing. Since beginning this work, I'm now sleeping 5-6 hours regularly, a life-changing improvement. My partner and I initially came for relationship growth, but we've both experienced monumental, lasting personal shifts. I understand myself and my partner far more deeply, feel untethered from guilt and doubt, and carry a greater sense of peace and perspective. I've done (and shared) EQ analysis, aligned with DiSC assessment, and plenty of others... but the tools, questions, and techniques Jacqueline brings a specialized, cross-cultural lens on emotions and behaviors that have catalyzed meaningful growth for both of us. Her goal isn't lifelong dependency with her as guide--she's focused on identifying opportunities for progress, offering thoughtful, non-repetitive strategies, and empowering lasting change. There are no quick fixes--just mindful, guided adjustments that build emotional and intellectual strength over time with rapid fire focus and continuity. I always leave sessions feeling more grounded, more capable, and completely myself. Truly remarkable.

I was looking for Ketamine Assisted Therapy for my treatment-resistant depression & bipolarity…read more Their bedside manner, specifically the anesthesiologist, is bordering on horrible. Their response time is great- Oli, the ketamine-coach, is usually available via phone and is patient and kind. My main problem: The medical staff did not look for ongoing verbal consent, they didn't explain what was happening during my intake and started putting "vitamins" in my bloodstream without explaining consulting/asking for consent. If you engage with them, be specific about your needs for ongoing verbal consent, clear medical explanations, and a bedside manner that leads to feeling respected. The MD (anesthesiologist) dismissed my concerns by saying "it's natural- it's not the medicine, it's natural." When I asked for clarity on the medical meaning of "natural," I was met with frustration and "it's things that are already in your body." Again- that's not a medical response- it's dismissive. Oli, the person in charge of guiding/coaching me through the experience, admitted that the anesthesiologist is a great doctor but lacks a good bedside manner. I was baffled- why would you allow that with severely depressed folks? Everything is paid out of pocket, which means that if they start any kind of IV bag (with or without telling you?) you are on the hook for the dollars. If you are looking for Ketamine treatments with psychotherapy, that is NOT the main thing this place offers. They do offer a legal space for therapists to come in and assist clients in a Ketamine session. This was not clear to me until I carefully read and signed their paperwork before my first on-site visit. They offer COACHING to accompany ketamine experiences. The coaches are NOT THERAPISTS OR PSYCHIATRISTS. If you are suffering, I'm sorry, mental illness is so debilitating. If you use CIT, make sure you explain your needs for information and consent as things are being done to you. READ their disclaimers. Also, they don't have encryption, so anything medical you share will not be protected by encryption. Again, I didn't find this out until I read the proverbial fine print.

It's hard to put into words how profoundly the team at CIT has positively impacted my life. While I…read morehave had previous ketamine treatments, the experience with CIT had been the most complete, compassionate, effective, and comfortable. Treatments can often stretch the limits of your comfort, and can bring up heavy feelings as you integrate your experiences and memories. You will be prepped ahead of time, and debriefed after/between sessions. The rooms are very comfortable, and you can utilize the level of stimulation (music, lights, etc) to your liking. I've only worked with Dr. Danforth as the administering physician, who is thoughtful and collaborative with dosing and care plans. I have spoken to Dr. Tibble at length on the phone, who provided me with a ton of information about their services and process. Joyce handles the scheduling and payments (and sometimes intake/IV starts), and is very responsive, kind, and skilled. The entire team exudes warmth. I recommend them highly to anyone who is considering ketamine treatment. I have been to both the Marin and Vacaville clinics, and both are great. While the entire team is fantastic, I have to give a special shout out to Oli, one of the guides. Oli has been by my side during each treatment, holding space, grounding me, asking gentle but pointed questions, and listening and reflecting with the deepest compassion and non-judgment. I can say with certainty that my treatments would not have been as effective without this guidance and support, though the ketamine itself does some pretty miraculous work (and some people prefer a solo journey). He is thoughtful, warm, and you get the sense that he truly cares about your well-being and future. I am incredibly grateful for his presence. Book a call to learn more - they are more than willing to provide you with extensive information and answer any of your questions.

Lisa Kapalan was an awful marriage counselor for me and my soon to be former wife. She favored my…read morewife's position and I felt alone and unsupported through most of our marriage counseling process. I guess this is to be expected when good marriage counselors are taken and are in high demand due to Covid. She was unprofessional and biased from our first session and it continued through our third and final appointment . She also pressured us to have our third session the following week because she was going to be on a two week vacation and would be unavailable. Was this for our benefit or for Lisa's financial benefit? I was reluctant because our second session didn't go well for me and I also prefer counseling every two weeks and was still feeling PTSD from our first two sessions. We were then pressured into another appointment the following week by Lisa. That turned out to not go so well for me/us. Our sessions were all through Zoom which I am not a fan of and prefer in person couples therapy. In our first Zoom session we had an uninvited male visitor get on our zoom call. That was distracting, creepy, and very awkward! Lisa also apologized numerous times because she had to go to the door to receive some Amazon deliveries. Who does this during a paid session with clients? Again, this was super distracting! She then wanted to charge us for more time because we had gone over but we didn't agree with her charging us more. Especially with all of her unprofessional interruptions. Thankfully she agreed. Our second session was even worse. I brought up some painful memories and experiences. I was shamed and unsupported by my wife and Lisa and was made to feel bad for bring it up in couples counseling. Why the heck go to a marriage counselor if it's not okay to discuss issues that you are having? Again, Lisa lacked the skills to navigate that painful experience. For our third and final session, again more difficult issues and Lisa goes right to recommending us to get divorce lawyers. She never once during our three sessions asked or focused on all of the positive attributes we had going for us as a couple. We were Lisa's last session on that last and late Friday afternoon before she was leaving for her vacation. She was checked out from the beginning and didn't appear to be present or capable. I believe Lisa to be inept and partial to help couples objectively. I called her out during our session for being unfair and biased and she actually apologized to me for being "sexist." Lisa seems very pro-women and not fair or objective to the male point of view in my experience. She also offered up her services for our divorce process, are you kidding me Lisa!! You've already lost us as clients and have done enough damage already. Thank you so much Lisa and I hope that you had a lovely two week vacation. Our marriage ended that September afternoon after our Zoom call with you and I haven't seen my family since.
