After job was done was told , need new flue ... after waiting for that estimate finally received it $2500 more after paying $2800 for the chimney ... Had that company come over beforehand look at chimney never told me it needed a flue ... Also they reused old tin cap and assembly on top and now it looks bent after reinstall ! Just can't believe $2800 for 5 hours work , what do bricks and a little mortar cost ? Grant it something I can't do , only because of my age ! Understand costs of running a business and making a profit and having a couple of 25 year old kids , I expected at least a whole new tin cap and everything new ... Should have been told about flue as when the chimney was first looked at .... All I can say do homework get a few more estimates ! Will get other quotes on a flue !

That's the only bad thing I can say about them- they are so good, they are very booked! They do good work and clean up after themselves- which is super important. They were also very affordable. I will absolutely be using them for the next home repairs I need done. They are honest and fast, and I can't say enough good things about them.

That never happened. They insisted my ductwork was too small and came and put bigger ductwork in. It did not solve the problem as the temperature went up outside. The temperature went up in the house. The air-conditioning was running all day long never shut off. After seven years, the air-conditioning blew the oil i'll cover which I was told by a reputable company because it was too small. That's why that happened. I fought with them. They refused to put a bigger one in. I would never hire them ever again. They do what they wanna do and want you to pay for it. Air conditioner lasted 7 years and I had a 5-year warranty and I paid good money for it and I received junk. They need to listen to the customer and give the customer what they're paying for and what they want and stop arguing with the customer

Of course, we considered some different options, but thankfully, we didn't look any further and decided to stick with Horbett's. After the first experience our feedback was very positive, so why not? The day we called, the person handling our case put us on a waiting list. It sounded serious, but she called us back the next day, and within 30 minutes, a repairman was at our door to take care of the problem. They do a great job with scheduling, so the technicians don't waste their time. The repairman explained everything thoroughly that he was doing, including showing test results etc. during the whole process. Definitely, it was an honest and professional approach to customers. He really checked everything to be sure what the exact issue is with the air conditioning unit. After about an hour, he left. Our house started to feel like a happy place again. "Happy wife, happy life," right? ;) Another heatwave is coming this weekend. Horbett Heating & Cooling did a great job, and thanks for that.

I called many local chimney companies in the area with no luck of getting the Cap reinstalled. Luckiely a neighbor saw a Countryside Stove truck in the area. Being out of town I was able to make contact with Jim who was servicing a home in the area. Jim took care of the problem without hesitation in such terrible conditions. Thanks Jim.
