He quoted my a reasonable fee upfront and diagnosed the issue within a couple of hours. He advised that the motherboard had given it up and offered several different boards as a replacement, all very high quality and reasonably inexpensive. After a full day, he installed the new board, reinstalled the operating system, loaded all necessary updates, and made sure everything was working properly. This is the kind of place you want to have a straightforward experience with. If there's anything over the top to report then something went wrong in the original transaction. Luckily I can say that Dr. PC and I had a supremely average (and therefore perfect) encounter. I dropped off my laptop with a broken screen, he told me how long it would be before I got it back and how much it would be. He called me on the precise day he said it would be ready and charged me exactly how much he originally quoted. love it! PC was overheating due to fans not working. Brought it here at noon, by 5 pm, problem was diagnosed, fixed and computer was benchmarked and virus cleaned. All for a flat rate! John was super knowledgeable and easy to talk with. He knew just the right questions to ask to zero in on what the possible problem was. Only problem I had was finding the place.
