Amazing service, no hidden fees and very friendly and knowledgeable staff!…read more I had an issue with my freezer leaking water. After calling about this issue in the morning, I received an on-site appointment scheduled that same day in the afternoon. Further, the technician was able to fix the issue that day, which made our experience even better, considering the time of year (December) and not having to worry about additional parts to be used/ordered. Special thanks to Pavlo! Awesome job.

Turned out they weren't quite good enough, so parts were ordered that took only two days to come in. Dryer works fine and is quieter than before. Definitely would use this company again. King Appliance tech set up an appointment and then called me back and actually came 3 hours before the appointed time. The diagnosis was thorough, but we determined that our 10-year old refrigerator was not worth repairing (parts alone were $500 and Samsung timeliness to get the parts was 4 weeks). King's service call charge was a modest $89 all taxes in. Definitely competent and honest, i would use them for any appliance reoairs.

I called and spoke to a gentleman who listened to my issue and told me very nicely that I need to go to a warranty authorized shop for that make, as the code I was seeing was proprietary and he didn't have the info. He was nice about, and he was professional. I've bookmarked their site, for future reference. I appreciate the info they provide to the consumer and I appreciate his honesty in pointing me to a better resource! Would I return (i.e. - call again): Yes Would I recommend: Based on this interaction, yes, I would tell friends to try this place for repairs.

Terrible customer service. They had to order part for our stove. The guy (same guy who ordered…read morepart) came to replace the part. He pulled out the stove put the part in then moved the stove back only to realize it was the wrong part (part number is on box and he ordered, he should have known it was wrong part before replacing). When he pulled out the stove the 2nd time to remove the part he did not use the sliders and now I have gouges and scratches in the floor. The manager I spoke to was not very nice and was trying to get me off the phone. He said he would look into it and call back (did not call back). The next day we get a call from the parts department saying they cannot order the part and will not do the repair. I now have to waste time fighting to get my floors repaired.

Tech wanted to charge 105 + tax for a 5 min assessment. The part was very expensive but I could get it for $80 cheaper because I have a parts account #. After hearing that he said, he would charge me the $80 more on labour because he makes money on the part. Instead of charging $180 for a 2 hr estimated repair call, he would charge $240 and he wouldn't have to do any running around to pick up the part. I was outraged and will not be calling on him again.

The night before the apt, we get a call saying the guy can't come Monday, have to reschedule for Thursday. Okay fine, shit happens. Guy shows up Thursday and there's negative attitude from the get go, apparently because we never should have ordered the part ourselves. He asks how we installed the "parts". My wife explains that there was 1 assembly, not multiple parts. Answer not good enough. He actually starts arguing with my wife IN MY HOUSE. Mr "I've fixed 600 dishwashers" doesn't know that you can get one complete sump assembly (we got ours from Regional Factory Parts & Service on Antares). By this point, my wife is completely stressed. He tells her that there's a minimum $250 charge. Okaaay, nobody told us that when we made the appointment; only that there's a $75 fee to have somebody show up and that the $75 will offset the final price if we approve the repair. So now they already have $75 of our money. We've been washing dishes by hand for 6 weeks and just want the thing fixed ...so she tells him to go ahead. Turns out the problem was that we hadn't treated the gasket ring with dishwasher soap so poor seal. Who knew? Guy reassembles in 1/2 hr and dishwasher working. So, with tax, it's just cost us $282 (incl tax) for half hour of work. So why am I giving these guys 1 star? 1 reason: shit customer experience. If I had known that there was a flat $250 fee when I first called, and given that I don't need any new parts, I would have called someone else. Comically, the manager I spoke to afterward told me it would have been more expensive if I had gone with someone that charges hourly rate. So there's appliance repair joints charging $500+ /hr? I was born at night but it wasn't last night. Add to that the unwelcome blowback from the technician and, needless to say, we will never do business with ARB again. Couple of pro tips, guys: 1) the customer is always right, 2) when the customer is wrong, see #1.

This is a 'mixed feelings' review…read more I called Dale because of the few reviews I was able to find, his were quite good, focusing on honesty and not trying to sell you what you don't need. The one negative review discussed how he wasn't familiar with an appliance model but took a few days to come back and tell the caller - so they wasted time waiting for no purpose. I called Dale and explained our problem. He sounded a offended that we had first looked at resolving the problem ourselves. (Too bad - I have that right.) He wasn't familiar with the error code, or the model and said he would have to look into it, but it would be next week. Sure, fine. I waited. I waited one week. And then I called him back. He had no clue who I was. I re-explained everything to him again. Again - I got a sense that he was a bit miffed. I might be misinterpreting things. He ended up telling me he can't possibly fix the stove as the wiring could be all screwed up and he could spend hours on it and get nowhere, especially as the literature that came with the (20 year old) appliance was missing. I said "so what I'm hearing is you are not interested in doing this repair" to which he agreed. I said "thank you!" and hung up. By the way: I called another place that got good ratings, spoke to the guy for all of two minutes at which point he said "I can't help you, as based on what you've told me so far, you need to deal with an authorized warranty shop for that error. Some of the codes are proprietary". That two minute conversation was pleasant, without any tones of frustration in it and I was really happy with that repair shop! I've bookmarked their site as it is clearly a customer service oriented one and they will be the first place I call next time I need repair. I found the recommended warranty authorized shop and they are coming out in two days. So - at the end of this whole long store, here is my conclusion: Dale is honest but perhaps a bit disorganized. Perhaps his business has grown to the point where he needs help, I don't know. Dale may want to consider how he delivers his message. (It's ok to say you can't do the job - just do it quickly and with a smile. Alienating customers is always a no-no.) Will I return (i.e. - call him again): No. Will I recommend him: Unlikely
