I've seen two doctors here who were fantastic in regard to listening and providing information BUT the staff is incapable of doing basic office work. I have given two samples to be sent to a lab and both times something has gone wrong and I haven't received my results for a contagious disease! They never even called me to tell me my samples never made it to the lab, I have had to call them each and every time, and on the most recent occasion after being told I would receive a call back in " minutes" I ended up having to physically to go the location so they wouldn't continue ignoring me by phone. Long wait times are fine. Having good doctors is fantastic. But if they mess up the paperwork consistently then what's the point of coming in? If you go here YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE TEST RESULTS. The website stated that they took my insurance and when we arrived (and after waiting 20 minutes past my scheduled appointment time) they said they didn't, costing me 3x the amount Then had to wait another hour to see a 'doctor' at which point the 'doctor' would only offer tests (the 'doctor' did not even examine or diagnose my daughter) which pushed the cost up to 6x what i would have had to pay. They refused to give me a refund even though the 'doctor' didn't even attempt a diagnosis. read more

This is the second time I use this location and it's the same thing. Why offer online appointments for everything if it's only for COVID testing. The website doesn't even mention that when making the appointment. Then the staff except for one employee and the manager were rude, condescending, and when one of the employees called my by the color of my hair. Now this person knew my name and still referred to me by hair color. Seriously during a time like this people need to be more empathetic if they don't know how to be then they should train them and if you can't handle people then don't work dealing with people. I have to say I was Pretty Leary to go here once I saw all The reviews. The name has changed to 203 Urgent Care and it looks a bit beat up from the outside and parking in the front lot is quite limited but I was pretty impressed with my services received. The inside is clean and the staff seemed Over worked but all had a smile on their face and were polite and professional. The wait wasn't to bad and the dr was precise and friendly. Avoid it like the COVID virus itself. The staff seriously needs a vacation as they clearly are tired of the 3 hour line forming hours before they open. One word answers and mocking those of us silly enough to think making an appointment meant we actually had an appointment. No word on the website saying otherwise, instead a few of us were mocked by the receptionist and told that our "appointments" were just indications that we're showing up and that we had to "go to the back of the line." Nice. They simply don't understand customer service or the client experience. Sure they are the only rapid test in town but someday we'll beat this virus (God willing) and I won't forget how terrible they were to deal with. Came here Saturday mid day for rapid Covid test and they said they were not doing anymore for the day but to come back the next day. Showed up 25 minutes after opening Sunday and they said they were only taking the people that signed up prior to opening for now but to come back at 3PM, figured I'd hedge my bet and showed up at 2:30 and I guess they had been taking people but decided they had taken enough so no luck. Horrible attitudes and I understand people have bad days but every single time I come I experience this. I've been here probably 10 times over the years and each time I'm treated poorly. Not happy with my visit to DOCS today. Feeling poorly and fluish today. DOCS does not honor appointment times. They take patients in the order they arrive. You have to wait in the waiting room, not your car. I got rapid antigen tests only for flu and COVID. No PCRs. I was pretty out of it due to being sick, so didn't think to ask what testing I was getting. The Sofia 2 flu test I got is not that sensitive. (false negatives). Visit was a waste of time and energy. Next time I will try PhysiciansOne. I upgraded from one star to two because the provider I saw was kind and took a careful history. She told me based on my history that she thinks I have the flu. But there is no follow-up for better testing. My primary care doctor is giving me Tamiflu anyway. read more

This place has been my go-to throughout the pandemic. Do a rapid and come back in an hour for results. Easy. Fast forward to today when I desperately need to get my results due to a possible close contact and... nothing. You have to use some janky app to get your results and now 24 hours later, they haven't put anything. Tried calling and any COVID related call you can't get through to a human. I realize everyone is busy due to COVID but this place is a disorganized mess. I went in three hours ago and got a rapid test. I downloaded their app and got the info from their website. Results are supposed to come in less than an hour. I keep checking the app and the website and am not getting any results. I've currently on hold, where I've been listening to annoying music for over an hour. Meanwhile I have to quarantine. All I want is someone to explain what is going on or let me know the results. I went for a stool sample. After waiting for 3 hours they finally gave me it to take home. I wait a week they upload my results but the portal is broken. It took me 3 weeks go get in contact with them over the phone. They told me they cannot tell me the results and that sometimes the portal just doesn't work. So I am still sick and have no results. Went in for my 4:35 appointment.. might as well been a walk in with no appointment. They take people in the order they arrive. When I eventually got into my room the nurse? i think? not sure, cant even provide you her name because she did not tell me, did not tell me her title and was not wearing a single badge.. went to take my blood pressure and did not use the stethoscope around her neck. I went here to get a "rapid" covid test. On the plus side they have an app that lets you see your place in line, so that you can go run errands or something while you wait. Although, it only shows how many people are in front of you, not the expected time associated with that. I was there Friday October 9 starting at 11:10 AM, got my test at 3:15, and results at 5:30. What I really hated about this place, aside from the fact that it is a skeevy dump inside, is that the only way you are going to receive your results the same day is if you wait MORE, until they come out, on a printed sheet of paper, and the person hands them to you. The doctor I had spoken to had told me I could leave - so then I drove all the way home and was trying to get my results via 1) the app, 2) their OTHER portal, 3) their chat, 4) their text line, 5) by calling them on multiple numbers, any of those ways DID NOT WORK AT ALL, nobody picks up the phone or posts anything to the app or anywhere. WTF are all those apps and portals for, if not to make it EASIER to get results?? The whole point of the rapid test is to know, same day. So then finally I had to drive back to go get the sheet of paper. I would definitely never go here again. read more

I went here for a rapid covid test for screening on 9/8/20. I arrived at 8:35, was tested at 10:45, and got results at 11:25. So all together, the process took about 3hr. I used the Solv app as instructed to watch my place in line (it doesn't give any time estimate). All in all, it was fairly easily and staff were good. Just be prepared to wait. This place was able to get us 4x COVID tests and a return to school note within about 3 hours. With the pandemic, their walk in line was out the door and around the building but their system was efficient and we spent minimal time at the office (they sign you in and then call you to return). They said the put me on antibiotics and found out it was a antihistamine and it didn't help at all it was such a joke . Westport Urgent Care is way more certified and knows what they are doing whatever you do do not go here ! Since this Urgent Care had no clue what they were doing or had I had to go to my Primary Doctor who knows so much more and is going to be testing me for different things and not just one thing . I had great experience! On 12/7/20, COVID-19 Antigen Rapid test. It was easy to schedule online appointment and time, 2 days before. I received a text message about verification of my appointment about 20 minutes before my appointment, went into the office exactly the time I scheduled it online, I walked into the office, check-in, then Nurse walked in gave me a nasal swab, it didn't hurt and it was simple, it took 10 minutes. No lines and no waiting. I received my paper results less than one hour. They were nice, friendly, organized, and professional. I will go back. Highly recommend! read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I called and they said walk in for a flu test. I get there, and they say they can't see me and to come back tomorrow. The flu test is only sensitive for the first day after symptoms. Horrible customer service. read more

These guys are the worst. I was feeling flu-like symptoms so like we all do, I went for a COVID test to make sure all was good. I opted for the rapid Covid test so I could get back to work. It's supposed to be a one hour results method and even that is nonsense because most normal places report in 30 mins or less. Well, as of 8:00am today they STILL didn't have my results so I went into the clinic and complained about not having the results since I need the results to show up for work. The girl snapped back "No sir, the results are in but they just weren't posted to your portal." What the actual F is that about???!! That's just covering up for incompetence in my opinion. Well, she printed out the results, (negative, ofcourse) and said they will be posted to my portal. Four hours later now that they are STILL not there. I'm never using DOCs again. There are so many competent urgent care providers out there now, it's makes no sense to trust your healthcare to a bunch of clowns. read more

If you want actual care, DO NOT come here. I came into the Norwalk location yesterday (3:15 appointment) for a strep test. I was a few minutes early and instead of letting me wait in the completely empty waiting room, I had to wait outside; it was 45 degrees yesterday and I was running a 103 temp and pretty visibly ill. And yes, I was wearing a mask and shared my covid- negative results from the day prior with the front desk; didn't matter. It has been 24 hours, and my prescription for antibiotics hasn't even been called into the pharmacy. I've called the DOCS main operator 10 times within the last day, since there's no direct number to each individual office, and if I'm lucky enough that the operator picks up, I'm quickly told that the Norwalk office line is busy. I've started taking 5 yr old antibiotics that I found in my medicine cabinet, since I'm assuming my prescription will never be called in. read more

Fast and easy to make an appointment online but unfortunately the staff isn't very welcoming. Waited 30+ min for a rapid COVID test to be performed. Rapid testing takes approximately 1hr. After signing up for the portal as directed to receive the results, no labs were ever uploaded. I had to then go back the next day upon opening to request a copy. A very friendly medical assistant by the name of David is just perfect. Assisted me in a quickly and timely fashion and apologized for the inconvenience. Thank you David for going over and beyond. Had THE worst experience at DOCs Urgent Care in Norwalk. The three women behind the desk were rude and unhelpful. Actually one was trying to be helpful and the other two were awful. I am in serious pain and they say their system can't register my insurance and since its Sunday the insurance agency is closed so I can't get hold of anyone to tell these women I'm legit. I literally just used my insurance card last week without any problem. They were unsympathetic and would not give me the information sheet I had just filled out when I decided to leave. Do not go to Docs Urgent Care on COnnecticut Ave in Norwalk. Go to Physician One. They were willing to work with me. They took my credit card just in case and my insurance and they are contacting them on Monday. The people at Physician One are so much nicer and sympathetic. read more
