just now New Will the owner - I want people to know to not come here due to the pricing. I was told I would be charged 10% per bond with a minimum of 250 when i called. I was told one thing and then we were charged way more than 10%. A extra $300. first I called and spoke with Randy who was very nice and helpful now after using Docs I have a whole different experience when I found out the charges were personally made up. Please do not use Doc's they are a scam. They will tell you they charge one amount and then make up their own price. Please use another Bond company that is upfront with their fees and clearly explain the fees. When I called and spoke to Gaylen she insulted me and hung up on me. Mrs Rose was very nice but Gayla was very unprofessional throughout the whole call. I called Docs In Hopes they would be willing to make the situation right based on the possibility of incorrect information. My ex spouse went to pay my bail and was told diff info than what I am now being told. And the bond company is not wanting to take ownership of the possible error. NOW THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT THEY GO THROUGH INSURANCE AND THE RATE COULD DIFF. I don't think I should get treated differently from one employee to another within the same company. I recommended Docs to someone else in the jail and now I regret that after the treatment I was given from. The lady at the McKinney office. NO company should disconnect your call just because you are concerned about a financial situation. I called back and spoke with Cindy who was very nice and I explained to her the situation and problem that I am dealing with Gaylen and the charges. Up until today, I thought I was happy with their services.....Make sure to obtain the name of every staff you speak with and document all correspondence. Their "check-in" policy is to call on Mondays or Tuesdays before 5pm. On these days from 7am-7pm, I work in the O.R. and "out of pocket." I informed a member of their staff of this schedule conflict. Fortunately, or so I thought, she said that they would accommodate me and I would be able to call to check-in on Wednesday evenings, which I had been doing. Today, I received a call from a different staff member, who proceeded to speak to me like a child, claiming that I was on the "bad list" bc I had not checked-in for the past 3 weeks. (Hmm...similar to the Yelp review left by Colleen G. just last week!) Completely false claim, as my call log shows that I have been checking-in weekly on Wednesdays, as I was told I could. Also 2 weeks ago when I called to check-in, their office is who informed me of my court date the next day. I proceeded to explain the situation, but there was no note in their system pertaining to this accommodation. Since I did not recall the name of the staff who told me this, that meant I must be lying, irresponsible, called too late and needed to do better so that my name wouldn't be on the "bad list". Seems like their office needs to take part in a training on communication and documentation... read more

These guys are the best!!!!!!! When I landed into some trouble, it was the 1st (and only) time that I had ever been in such a "predicament". I was scared, alone & without the resources to adequately help myself. My mom contacted Doc's, gave them the breakdown. They told her not to worry & to pass the message along to me. They kept their doors open until she could get there from plano & left out the door with her to get me out. They are so kind & professional. I felt safe & at ease after leaving their office. While I never plan to be of need of their services again, I'll NEVER turn to anyone else!! read more

Extremely unprofessional. Decided that they would just drop the bond. They claimed my husband was not checking in and I explained to the guy that I would be more than happy to provide phone records to show that was inaccurate. I was then told that they can do whatever they want. Once I explained more in detail the guy says "oh yeah i remember that" and was told to call in the morning and talk with the manager whom I was never able to speak with because of the gate keepers. He felt that it wouldn't be an issue for them to go back on the bond. Of course once the next day comes around I cant reach the manager so she relays the message from the manager that they will not go back on the bond. Do not recommend. It was my unfortunate luck, to have to have to even call a Bail Bonds person; however; I did and was referred to Doc's Bail Bonds in McKinney Texas. For a $2500 bail, they quoted a $250 bond. The person who went to Doc's to handle the paperwork, (I was not local), signed the paperwork, and paid, and was debited $375. It went unnoticed for a few days, as the person paying signed because he already understood what the price was. When Doc's was questioned about the additional $125, over the quoted amount, the staff became angry, and threatening. They said " the price is what the price is, and we are not changing it" "and if you don't like it we can issue a warrant for XXX's arrest, is that what you want?" Angry, threatening, and doing bad business. Do not go there. Tell your attorney, do not recommend them. We also had our attorney call them; however, they were not budging with him either. We will take no further action with Doc's. read more

Worst place ever. Terrible customer service do not go to Doc's. They claim to be a 24hr service yet we called at midnight and the lady was so rude she had the nerve to ask why I was calling so late. I'm sorry but if you are a 24 hr service location you should be able to help me at whatever time then she said well it doesn't take all day to make a phone call. We called several different locations and visited a few places that's why we are calling you at this time. If I could give it 0 stars I would. read more

I can agree with some of the reviews.. after my experience today, the lady does come off a bit "aggressive." A guy name "Reed" took over cause she left the office early and he's really patient and professional and that alone can brighten someone's day! Good vibes!!! Wish I could give them a Zero. Extremely rude. They misformed us of some information and so my daughter thought that she was done after her court date and didn't check in. In the past if she forgot to call, they would call her and then call me if they didn't reach her. She got to where this last year she never missed a call and never missed a court date. After court she didn't call and neither of us received any calls. We thought she was done. Last week, we found out they put a warrant out on her to get back their bond. The lawyer called them to explain the situation and they told him that they did call and that they called her lawyer. The lawyer then said " you did not call the lawyer because I'm the lawyer". Then they changed the story but would not take back the warrant. So now the bond is doubled. As my lawyer said " they just stole your money". I emailed the details and asked for a supervisor to call and no one called so I called to talk to them and they were rude to me. There are several good bail bond companies in the area, if you are ever unfortunate enough to need one, don't call docs. read more
