Nick is great during the sales process, and I think we got a fair deal. After the sale is a completely different story. We opted to purchase Boat n Motors "fully refundable" extended warranty. I wasn't sure I'd keep the boat for more than a few years, and asked whether the warranty was refundable. Nick said yes. Cancel anytime, so long as you don't use it, you'll get a full refund. Decided to sell the boat recently, and requested a full refund on the extended warranty, in person. Was told no problem, but after a month I didn't get a check. Called and was told it was in the mail. Two weeks later I stopped by again and heard "we will get right on that." Nothing. More calls from me, no response from Boat and Motors. More in store visits. Finally I get a partial refund, less than half the amount paid. I called several times and was told they'd sort it out and get back to me. No return calls. Zero. I stopped by 2 more time and was promised by Nick that he's sort it out. Nothing. Called more, zero return calls. Don't believe anything you're told by Nick, including his famous "I'll get right back to you." Get everything in writing and read the small print. Don't believe anything you're told.

I'd love to have a yellowfin but I can't afford it so i get on the salt water with a well craft center console , one day I hope i can afford one of hamants high end boats, but until then Ill just stick with my self built "Frankenstein" boat. Some of the works of art I've seen leaving that shop are pretty dang amazing. Even though I didn't buy a full boat from hamant I did buy most of the parts to build mine. The prices are great and they treated me like a customer that had purchased a new boat. Even gave me tips when I was building my own. You always hear good things from hamant boat OWNERS I say it like that because when your out on the marsh you will hear about "cousins brothers wife's best friends husband " had one and a bolt fell off. Lol . Solid company , family run business. They will have my business as long as I'm still into Airboating.

I purchased a new Continental boat trailer for my Carolina Skiff from Boathouse Discount Marine…read more The service department at Boathouse Discount Marine did a great job properly "fitting" the trailer for my boat. I was excited to bring my boat home but to my surprise when I arrived home I noticed that my new trailer had a flat tire. I immediately contacted Boathouse Discount Marine to let them know what happened and without delay they took charge to resolve the problem. I brought in the flat tire and to my satisfaction I was provided a new tire and rim for my trailer that same day!

The tip of my hubs fishing reel broke off recently during a trip. He said he might be able to cut it and "repair" it for him. We purchased the kit and Troy did his magic. My hubs is definitely pleased. Seems to be a lot of employees walking around but none seem to be engaging with the customers. I walked around the apparel section many times. Saw employees. They were talking amongst each other. But no one to say hello or asked if i needed anything. Ended up finding my own sizes and going to ask for price checks on my own. A few clothing items were misplaces even though that SAME selectin was all on one arm with the sign displaying, but the cashier wouldnt honor it even though I showed her the picture. I wasn't going to fuss with her, I ended up not purchasing it. Do better! This location we may not frequent but might try another location and hope to have better service and luck.

The firearm area specifically when to a QRG code for checking in for help and they fail to deviate when limited clients. It appears more for tracking and later solicitation purposes versus true care. Oh and the visiting manager whom was more inclined to scream check in with our QRG code versus acting like a leader and perhaps saying hi or interceding if truly busy. There was no feeling of value and chain store seems to need to fall back to better and consistent training to value the business and its client base.

When I pick it up the price was $1250.00 and said it was more work than expected and the price of parts went up. It was a routine service, nothing was broken! (same part numbers on the invoice) But the kicker is he didnt even change the oil filter when changing the oil, but he charged me for it.
