Wow! I don't even have an appointment yet but if Jessica (Front Office Staff) is just one example of the professionals on staff, I pray they accept my insurance plan. I called because Blue Shield's computer was lagging so they couldn't give me a definitive answer if Doc Smiles was covered under my plan. Jessica went above and beyond to get all my information to submit to their insurance staff who will then contact Blue Shield. I was not expecting that level of professionalism, helpfulness and friendly attitude. BEST PLACE!!!! I'm not quick at writing reviews and it usually takes me a while but I'm more than happy to write this one. Switching my family dentist was the best thing I could have done for us. We went to Doc Dental for a 2nd opinion after spending thousands, and thousands on another place that was just in it to rip us off. I knew this place was the one when my 19yrs decided to go to the dentist without me. She was comfortable and understood the processes that were going to be done on her. The 2nd gives away was when I went in & they wanted me to see a specialist before they did any work just to make sure I don't have any unknown infections. BUT... The dead giveaway was with my 5yr old. She was seeing a pediatric dentist since she was about 3ish and every time she had a visit the dentist would want me to sedate her and like an idiot I did. It didn't sit right with me but I kept going because I didn't want her to start having bad routines with her teeth so I thought I was doing the right thing. Then recently my baby's bottom teeth were loose and her gums were swollen, so I call the dentist and they told me to go in ASAP. I couldn't leave work so my oldest daughter took her and that was the final straw. The dentist was rude and again told me to get on the schedule for sedation as they needed to pull out the teeth. I called Doc Dental and they got me in the same day... No sedation was needed and they were so gentle and kind to my little girl. They advise removing the teeth too just because my little one was in pain. Like chap that she is, she let them numb her, and walla... out goes her teeth with no problems & no sedation. You can tell Doc Dental is not in it to do an unnecessary treatment. He truly cares for you, your concerns, and your well-being. I really like this place ! I could see myself here for the long run. From the front desk staff, (even through the phone, they are super nice ), to not having to wait so long in the lobby , and my hygienist Myrna ! She's very gentle and makes sure you are comfortable the entire time . Also , she truly cares about your dental health . Last time I was in she recommended a tooth brush (not one that you buy in house ) one on Amazon . This time she recommended a water pick. I just moved to the area in May. I needed a local dentist asap. I found Dr. Tran based on reviews through Yelp. I have got to say this place is amazing! I came in needing to have 2 implants done and I can't say enough about how pain free this process was. I just had it done on Monday and so far minimal swelling and I've only had to take ibuprofen and antibiotic. I also had a front tooth root canal and crown, full exam and cleaning. I am a denta-phobe, 100%. After being raised as a military kid, and then active duty, my experiences with dentists has been abysmal. Even recently with a local Endodontist, whom I will call Marquis De Sade, horrendous. So when I had a tooth that was infected with fractured roots, that needed to be extracted, I was dreading seeking treatment. I contacted DocDental Smiles, and from the first phone call to the consultation, and now through treatment, I am amazed. They go out of their way to be helpful, KIND AND COMPASSIONATE. They are always checking to make sure you are comfortable during a procedure, and don't condescend like some dentists do. My extraction, bone graft procedure was extensive (because of the aforementioned infection/fracture) but at no time was I in pain. We took a couple of breaks, so I could relax, and the whole thing went quite well. I walked out that same day with a temporary bridge! For the first time in quite a while I had a smile again! That night they called me to check on me, and again a few days later. All good. It was all done under local , but you can also have sedation dentistry. This is a professional, terrific place. We were patients at Menifee Smiles in the Target center for over 10 years and were never satisfied with the services we received there, but continued out of convenience. They would continuously try to upsell us for additional services at each cleaning at $300-500. They are very kind and professional. Myrna did a deep cleaning and she was very patient and knew what she was doing. Also had a cavity filled and Dr. Tran did that. I came in because I was experiencing some tooth pain and jaw stiffness. I was worried that it was due to me delaying the removal of my wisdom teeth, and I was right!
