I informed her that I didn't know why and was never informed. she stated it was for "rude behavior" but she really didn't know what that referred to, only that when she asked the doctor if he would see me, he said no. He didn't even come in the room to talk to me about the situation that I have no idea to which they are referring to.... every single time I've been in for my yearly physical I have been offered a job in the office. I've never been rude to the physician or staff. I'm very disappointed and find this to be extremely unprofessional, as I also work in the medical field.

What they don't tell you is that they try to charge $250.00 plus any additional costs from medical tests to your insurance provider if you are in-network for the visit (twice as much or more than an uninsured visit). The billing office openly admits to charging different amounts for a visit depending on if the visit is insured or not. The billing office will try to get you to pay for some or all of the remaining balance that they attempted to charge the insurance company. The billing office is unable to explain the bill in any understandable detail. When I explained to them that none of the numbers on my bill add up mathematically, I was laughed at on the phone. The result is that if you pay, they will make more money from both you (out of pocket) and from the insurance provider than they would have from an uninsured patient visit. They lure you into doing this by telling you that your insured copay is only $30.00, when they are going to try and bill your insurance $250.00 for the visit, instead of the standard visit fee of $125.00. After speaking with my insurance provider, I was instructed to only pay the difference between what they cover for urgent care visits and the incorrect $30 copay the facility charged me. My insurance company also informed me that this billing practice (that I described above) is called double billing, and it is illegal. It is a form of insurance fraud frequently employed by urgent care facilities often to target the elderly. I reported the fraud which is now under investigation. If you are looking for a compassionate and quality urgent care facility, please go across the street to the "Camden Walk in Medical Center (Urgent Care)." By then I would have either died or have defecated everything out of my system. I'll take my chances with a family practitioner, it might be a longer wait, but I'll get answers.

They do a good job of testing throughly, BUT for some reason, they are fearful of pain management!…read moreI understand that pain will never go down to a complete zero, but at least ask the pt what medications have worked and at what dose so the MD and nurses aren't being bothered for pain not being controlled. Pts that are on a regular regimen of pain medication daily, will normally need a higher dose of pain medication to keep it below or at a 5/10. Please listen to your patients and if their vitals are high due to pain, don't discount it. Especially if that pt is also a healthcare worker (I.e. a nurse)

I like how you are informed of what to expect as they determine your case. I found the nurses and doctors to be cordial and well informed. Having a difficult patient was handled skillfully by all. The patient and guest (me) were accommodated as much as possible. I have no complaints. The hospital was fairly quiet and I enjoyed perusing the department Christmas trees that were set up for the holidays. They added a pleasant touch to my visits.
