It's the perfect spot for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready. They decorated beautifully and the hors d'oeuvres they had at the reception were delicious. They were so gracious and sweet and they have a beautiful bed and breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, WOW, it was AMAZING! We stayed in the Lily of the Valley room and it was stunning. I absolutely loved all of the details of this room. There is a nice whirlpool tub and they also have a porch (great place to sit out and have a cup of coffee in the morning!). We were given at check-in tickets to Billy Bobs, and 6 coupons for complementary breakfast in hotel. Our Billy Bob tickets were refused by the first and second employees at two entrances, and the third person told us that if we had come earlier in the day,(Thursday) he MAY have let us in, on the condition that we would leave before 5 P.M. We were there at 3 P.M. Our breakfast coupons were refused also. The restaurant employee insisted on charging $41 to our room. For that reason we went elsewhere for breakfast the next two days. We disputed it at checkout and were refunded. It is a convenient walk to Exchange street Stockyards, you will not want to try to drive. Parking is scarce. We found best restaurants in the Stockyards. If you want a local restaurant on Main or 28th street areas you will have a choice of about 20-30 Mexican restaurants, nothing else, except Jack in the box, Mc Donalds, Chic fil a. There was a Coopers BBQ, however we were disappointed with the quality of their brisket.

Upon entering, the outside pressures and stresses dissipate. The vibe is pure relaxation. This time, Sept 2026, we were upgraded to an executive suite in the Vineyard section of the hotel. It has been recently renovated and although we did not see big differences, the rooms are clean and the views of the lake and outward from there are wonderful. The room was large and well maintained. The suite came with a king bed and a sofa bed. Both were comfortable. The pillows were comfortable. The room was quiet. Overall, it was a great experience. I don't really get why the hotel has a 3 star rating. I acknowledge that check in can be slow, even in the elite line, but the resort gets really busy and the representatives have been friendly and helpful based on our experiences. We will return for sure.

The room itself was a little dated, but it was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The lobby, atrium, and grounds are gorgeous and definitely give the property more of a resort feel than a typical convention hotel. I didn't have a chance to try any of the restaurants during my stay, so I can't comment on the food. The staff was also a highlight. Everyone I encountered was outgoing, friendly, and welcoming. Overall, a very nice stay and a great option if you're attending a convention or need to be near DFW. The lack of an airport shuttle and somewhat dated rooms keep it from being a 5-star experience for me, but I'd happily stay here again.
