You know that feeling when you're so set on something that it haunts you for all eternity until you…read morefinally get to do it? That was me my entire four days in Prague. I passed by Oh Deer Bakery on my way to sightsee, and every opportunity I had, I would catch myself thinking of when I would be able to stop by. I checked the place out the night before I was going to leave and was set on going before heading to the airport. I researched their small menu extensively and was so set on getting the Slanina, which was a peanut butter filled cronut with a maple syrup glaze and bacon on top. My heart broke when I saw that they didn't have this, so I ended up getting the mini versions (58czk each, instead of the 89czk if you got a regular size) of the Jahoda and the Nutella. The Jahoda was a white chocolate topping with a sweet and tart strawberry mascarpone filling. I really don't know what drew me to this one because I hardly ever opt for a fruit flavor when it comes to baked goods, but I am SO glad that fate made me get this one because it was so amazing! The Nutella one was just as amazing, but in a completely different way. Unlike the stiffer, tarter strawberry mascarpone filling, this one was filled with ooey gooey thick rich salted caramel. It was much sweeter than the other cronut, but the combination of nutella and caramel went so well. The cronut itself is also an A+ in my books. The outside was crisp and the inside was soft, fluffy, and beautifully layered. The cronut itself was also not super sweet (even though it was coated in sugar), which made it a perfect vessel for the delicious fillings. The worker was also so kind and patient with me while I took a decade to decide what I wanted, and was sweet to let me borrow a knife and stay in the store for the next 10 minutes to take photos. Needless to say, the next time I'm in Prague, I'll definitely coming back, crossing my fingers that they'll have the Slanina this time!

So happy this place just opened! It's located right by the Krymska stop (tram 22, bus 135). Their…read moreoverall concept is street food, "Conductor- your street food maestro!" . According to the owner, the name pays homage to a famous Czech conductor who used to live in the building. Pages of his music are on the walls inside the small yet brightly lit space. This is a "take away" place as there is currently not any available seating, although you're more than welcome to eat there and sit on the little bench by the window. Food options are limited: beef stew with homemade bread, bbq pulled pork sandwiches, freshly baked cinnamon rolls, and a daily special. They also serve chai tea lattes, lemonades, and coffee. I've had the pulled pork sandwich and the cinnamon roll. The pulled pork is delicious!! Not the best I've ever had but the best I've had in Europe. Great flavor and all meat, no chunks of fat/gristle. It comes topped with a delicious coleslaw. I only wish there was more meat in the sandwich and would love if they offered a side of baked beans. Overall, I'm very happy to have found real, unpretentious bbq pulled pork in Prague. Yes, there are other American style bbq and burger spots in the city, but they seem to all be sit down restaurants that cost a bit more than a casual meaty sandwich should. Now onto the cinnamon rolls... If you only get one thing this should be it. It is so fluffy and sticky sweet with just the right amount of cinnamon. The cream cheese frosting/glaze is divine. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. My only gripe is that they are not open in the mornings. I'd love to pop in for a cinnamon roll before heading off to work. I haven't had anything else yet, but my friend had the daily special (it was some sort of Thai pork belly dish) and he said it was amazing. The owner is really genuinely kind and I hope this place succeeds. He plans to expand food offerings once the place gets going a bit. This place is a great little addition to the neighborhood. **Update** Prices have increased by 10kč Cinnamon rolls are still amazing.

About half of the wrap selections are vegetarian or vegan. I think the menu items change sometimes, but we tried both the Mega Wrap and the Pav Bhaji and loved them. As noted earlier, it's a take-away street food concept, so there are no tables, but there is a small bar you can stand at. I happened to be staying around the corner from The Conductor, but it's definitely worth jumping on the 22 tram for. I liked it so much I grabbed a wrap for my 9 plus hour flight back to America.

This one (the full-size) is quite spacious and the service is always friendly. They have a wide array of pastries, breads, sandwiches, and salads; and I am a huge fan of their chocolate donuts, maslovy croissants, and the brioches with goat cheese. For dining in though, I wish they would heat up the croissants or the brioches. I'm sure they would taste so much better.

This particular one is located right inside the Atrium Flora, across from the Courtyard Prague City, which is super convenient and wonderful. During some of our tours, the pickups can be quite early, and we have no time to wait for breakfast places to open. Thus, we would come here to buy their salmon and cream cheese sandwich, apple juice, and grape honey yogurt as our breakfast. Everything tastes amazing and stays fresh overnight in the fridge. In fact, we love this place so much that we have come back multiple times during our trip to pick up the same combos. Beware though that they do run out of sandwiches near the end of the day by 7-8 PM. So if you want to grab your favorites, be sure to come before 5 PM.
