I did the research and talked to 4 companies before choosing Pregent and then .... at least a dozen other houses got the benefit. When I was getting the quote from Joe, my neighbor across the street and one a couple houses down also asked for quotes. Then, when they were doing the work, people came out of the woodwork to ask them to do their driveways too. My new driveway is incredible. It was so worn down the dirt was coming through at the end. They fully replaced it, expanded it to be double width, and even put in a really nice Cambridge paver walkway to my front door. It totally transformed the look of my house. They got all the work done in two days and were really well organized in that they were able to simultaneously time it to stagger the different phases of paving and do multiple driveways at once. They had at least a dozen guys which made them really efficient.

I have posted this same review on other sites after having Josh come do some work for us…read more My fiance and I just bought a home in Glenville in December and we had Josh come the week of June 8th to replace an old worn out wood fence and a chain link fence with a new wooden dog ear roughly 6ft fence. He was recommended to us by my fiances mother who had him do some work in her backyard, including her fence. He was very responsive over email, text, and phone calls and willing to work with us on timing. He quoted us just over half the price that Lowes did. He did great work, the fence looks solid, straight, and exactly as we wanted. What more can you ask for? I highly recommend him.

He was very responsive; came by one evening to explain his two step process and quoted us a price. Told him we wanted him to do the work but needed it done by the end of June. They completed the job and we couldn't be more pleased. The siding on the house and the shed sparkles and even smells clean. Taylor is not only a good businessman but a nice guy to do business with! The last time we had our driveway sealed (which is a large driveway with cracks, lawn overgrowing…read morethe sides, and in places weeds growing through it) we had a company come and they did a fantastic job. They did a thorough job edging it, they filled in the cracks, and they pulled the weeds. They also charged us almost half of what Egan charged us now, though that was in 2020. That company doesn't appear to be around now, so we looked online for reviews and after getting several went with Egan. Their estimate seemed detailed enough (we had also asked for other quotes to do other things besides sealcoating) but when it came time to actually lock it in we discovered that the low number wasn't the correct number. We had to add another number too, which made the job a lot more (though still less than the others). Arranging a time to get it done took four calls spread over several days, but they finally showed up. And their work was less than spectacular. Yes, the driveway is mostly black. But they missed some spots along the edges; they didn't bother to fill in any cracks; they actually applied the tar over weeds in situ (sort of like those online pictures of highway striping crews painting right over roadkill) leaving black plants sticking up; and they didn't edge everything properly first and part of their tar was just brushed on dirt which was on top of the driveway which instantly peeled off a day later. Now, to be fair if I had to do this all myself (not a fun job) I doubt I could have done it much better. But for $1400 we expected more. In the future I will make sure the contract clearly specifies crack filling, full edging, etc. Since their quote was the lowest and most of my driveway now has sealcoat on it I can live with it. But I will likely look elsewhere next time as you get what you pay for. Maybe our previous company spoiled us with amazing service?
