Last day in Maine and my friend and I lucked out !…read more Walked in close to closing and wasn't expecting to actually getting a tattoo. The owner had just finished with a client but didn't send us away. Angelina was able to see me and did a fantastic job! She worked with my indecisive self ... hahaha Both got small tattoos and both came out amazing! If I'm ever in Maine again, I'll definitely visit the shop again!

Well....this place is alright. As far as tattoo shops in central Maine go. Everyone was nice. I…read morehave had my nose pierced before but removed it (for my job at the time). I recently decided I wanted to have it pierced again. I called the shop ahead of time to ask how much piercings were and was told "$50 including the jewelry". I get to the shop, sign some forms and was again told "$50. Look around at these cases *motions to cases* they are our nose piercings". I waited for about an hour before their piercer could get to me (yes they were quite busy). I showed him the one I wanted (as I spent basically an entire hour looking). I then again asked how much that piercing was, he said "$70". I thought, cool, a little more expensive than $50 but I got a neat little 14K gold nose ring. No biggie. Before I sit in the chair, the receptionist calls me up to pay and my total was $130 dollars! I have the money, I can pay that's no problem. But what I had an issue with was feeling like information was purposefully withheld in order to make a higher sale. Not only is this dishonest, but left a bad taste in my mouth. The same jewelry I purchased in the shop, isn't even worth $70 online! Yeah, I could've said no. But I had already been waiting for so long AND the place was so packed..I got nervous saying no and going back to the drawing table. Pic for reference of what I got. If you're going there....just beware of this practice. Or just go somewhere else all together.

I got both of my tragus pierced today but after the first one, I got very light headed and nauseous. We took a break and he made sure I had plenty of water and gummy lobsters to get my blood sugar back up. He explained to me exactly what was going on with my body and why I felt that way which in itself made me feel 10 times better. He didn't continue with the other ear until he knew for sure the unused adrenaline my body had produced and left over had passed. All the while people gathered at the door--but he didn't mind. He took his time, finished both ears, and made sure that I had enough time to recover. He showed me all the equipment he was using and took them straight out of the bag which was clearly labeled 'STERILIZED'. He's very skilled with the whole 'bedside manners' thing and will make you feel very prioritized and well-looked after. My procedure took 30 minutes (only because I was being such a big baby), but he is very quick and took care of the people before me within 15-20. Wait time isn't that bad if you get in early afternoon. But even if you do have to wait, it's totally worth it. No other piercing/tattoo place IMO is as educated, professional, and kind as this place or this man specifically. Totally worth the 40 minute drive :)

DO NOT GO HERE. I'm not sure why I trusted this place after seeing them mess up a friend's nose…read morepiercing, but I thought I would be safe with the older, more experienced piercer. Very wrong! I went in to get my Medusa repierced and the piercer said he could do it in the same spot as the scar. He then used a huge sharpie to mark the placement and didn't get anywhere near the actual spot when he put the needle in. His hands were shaking the whole time and the entire experience felt anxious, careless, and extremely rushed. It wasn't until later that day that I noticed it was completely off center and nowhere remotely near the spot we agreed on. Once the obscene amount of sharpie wore off, I could still very clearly see my old scar above and way to the side of the new bar, this was not a swelling issue! The shop was closed for the next 3 days so I was not even able to contact them at that point. I chose to void my warranty and remove the jewelery myself so that I could minimize the scarring of this totally unnecessary and infuriatingly off-centered extra hole in my face. As much as I would love for them to fix their mistake or give me a refund, I will never set foot inside this shop again for multiple reasons. For one, the guy that usually works the front desk is a literal storybook troll in the absolute worst way. He is so rude to literally every person I've ever seen him interact with. It is not some neurodivergent accident either, he clearly gets pleasure from making people feel as shitty as possible. No one in the shop seems to care since he has been there for years, so I assume they must all condone this truly abhorrent behavior. Secondly, I do not trust either of these piercers to care or be bothered to do this piercing correctly the second time, they seem annoyed that they even have customers! I would fully expect them to try to gaslight me into thinking that their incorrect placement was somehow okay or justified or, at the very least, to be rude AF to me. Maybe this place was good twenty years ago, but they clearly have not kept up with the industry standards and have zero passion left for what they do. I really hope my terrible experience can save someone else the pain and disappointment. I've been pierced all over the country and I've never seen such carelessness.
