Love to get a pedicure here, Except when I get one of the men who work there. The woman give a great pedicure, but the last few times, no matter how much I spend, I've gotten a male technician,find the men skip some of features advertise in the description of the pedicure & barely massage your legs. The woman offer you something to drink & don't skip a beat. I usually like to just walk in, but I've learned my lesson to make an appointment & ask for a female technician. read more

My aunt, my mom and I came here for a mani pedi, it was SO AMAZING. We got the collagen spa pedicure and the deluxe manicure. It truly is the best mani/pedi I have ever gotten! It was absolutely worth it to pay the extra money for it. Tia, Quy, Ricky, and the rest of the crew are FANTASTIC! My mom told Tia it was my birthday celebration and she made my day SOOO extra special! She even got me a cupcake! DO NOT GO HERE. Requested to "soak off acrylic nails" , keep the natural length, and add dip. They decided instead of soaking the nails-they RIPPED them off, breaking multiple nails. After breaking the nails, they had to add tips for the service because my nails were ripped to the skin. After adding the tip, they then had to change the shape. I was charged an additional $45 for the shape, horrible removal, and tips added onto the nails. this is all on top of the price for the full dip set. I am honestly horrified with this experience, especially as a licensed esthetician who is trained in this. Disgusting of a spa to nickel and dime a customer after improperly doing a service. read more

Unfortunately, the owner Tia is money grubbing & greedy. Tacking on unknown prices & upping prices too much in short periods of time, look at your itemized bill... (if you can catch it, they move you to the pay screen really fast) In addition, after making my usual appointments to arrive early & wait another 20 minutes because Tia made my regular technician Ricky take another appointment just before I walk in, this has happened the last 3 or 4 times. Tia does not respect her clientele's time, all she sees is $$$ dollars signs walking thru the door & reating her technicians like her little slaves. The only reason I continue to see my technician Rickyis because of the awesome personalized work I continue to receive. He receives 5stars for quality work with a fun personality!!! DO NOT COME HERE. THEY SCAM YOU AND RIP YOU OFF. My daughter and I were visiting Boca Grande and needed to get nails done. We decided to come to DO Nails due to how close it was. We arrived and were greeted with wonderful service. However the main issue that I have with this salon, was the unknown prices and I was never made aware of the additional charge for gel on a pedicure. My daughter and I both got gel pedicures. When looking at the book with prices for the service, we decided to go with the $40 "Spa" pedicure. However no where on this book made clear that there is a ADDITIONAL $20 CHARGE FOR A GEL COAT ON MY TOES. This is an extreme, absurd, and embarrassing price for gel on tiny toe pads. I understand if they were charging $5 extra for gel, however it was $20. Further I reside in Beverly Hills, California and I have never been charged an additional $20 for gel alone. This is insane and from living in a nicer and higher socio-economic city, they don't even charge $20 dollars for the gel color alone. When getting charged I was shocked when seeing how expensive it was. For 2 pedicures alone it costed 150, which is insane and have never paid that much for 2 mediocre pedicures. When asking to see the itemized bill Lein was extremely shady and suspicious surrounding my entire itemized bill. I had to ask 2 different lady's to explain the bill to me and got 2 different answers. I told these ladies I was never told about the additional $20 dollar charge, and they reacted with a blank face and basically told me to kick rocks. I would be at least a bit more pleased if they were apologetic about the lack of financial transparency in their business. If I could I would get this place shut down, it is ILLEGAL to not be transparent regarding costs of services. If I was told prior to my appointment that their was a additional $20 add on for gel, I would have refused to indulge in this service. This in my opinion is the worst nail salon in Englewood FL. I went there on a reference from someone I know and was not impressed. As soon as I entered this busy salon I was very offended by the owner who was very rude to the technician that was doing my nails. I even asked her if she was ok because I thought she was going to cry at times. She (the owner) was pushing services on all the clients in the salon almost to the point of harassing them. She told one person she was going to wax her because she had a lot of hair on her face. If that were me I think I would have walked out. I had the sns dipping power service done on my nails which should last a minimum of 3 weeks before you need to get them done again. I have very strong nails and the powder usually lasts at least 4 or 5 weeks on me. The powder was put so thin on my nails that it began peeling off the very next day. After 5 days all but 3 of my nails are either broken or have no dip on them. I have thought about going back to complain , but I decided to just call it a loss. There are so many nail salons in the area and if I were you I would go elsewhere. read more

Had my nails done on Saturday, August 19. By Tuesday 8/22 one nail chipped. Today, just 10 days later, 6 are chipped. Not going back.

This is the best nail salon I have ever been to! They are so wonderful. Sometimes I wait when I'm traveling and do without getting my nails done so I can come back to them. They serve bloody Mary's if you ask! Tia is absolutely a joy. I drive about 30 miles to go to them because they are so good and they have all the services you could think of. They are not expensive and can always fit you in. I highly recommend this nail salon. read more

I wanted to like this place. I'm still on the fence. We had appointments for four of us. Manicures and pedicures for the ladies and pedicures for the men. I ended up getting the dip, my nails look great but I got ZERO attention or massaging or cuticle clipping. It was a total rush job. The only thing I got was the dip, no other treatment whatsoever. My pedicure was better but I did ask for gel and they gave me regular, yes I could've said something but whatever they seemed overwhelmed despite us having appointments. The men did not get any treatment whatsoever other than sticking their feet in the water and then trimming toenails. My dad got one leg "massaged" and then told his leg hair was too long so she wiped off the lotion that was put on the other leg. No hot towel nothing. read more

We changed an appointment from 3 people to 5 people. They confirmed 5 of us for 11 am. We arrived at 11 am and were told they never changed our reservation from 3 to 5 even though they even switched our time from 11:30 to 11:00 to accommodate all 5 of us. I showed up at 11 only to have them take 3 strangers with no appointments and told us they couldn't get us in. Do not count on this place. I never will again. Their loss. read more

This is the best nail salon I have been to! I drive from Sarasota to come to Do Nails. Tia is the best! I'm always treated like family here. I have brought all my family in before and they were very accommodating for us all. I always get gel on my nails and it lasts the full 3 weeks! Everywhere else doesn't even last 2 weeks. I'm a bartender, so I'm very hard on my hands. An extra bonus here, is Quy's margaritas! Best ever! ....and thats a bartenders recommendation! read more

VERY pleasant experience here! We called and made reservations for 3 of us, and the young gentleman advised us if we could get there in 20 minutes, we would have no wait. He was concerned that we had enough time to get both the mani and pedi before his next appointment came in. I was happy with his concern for his next clients. So, we all three sat together in comfortable seating. My friend's mom needed a very gentle touch on her legs, and they were VERY caring and did exactly right. Even the hot stone wasn't too hot for her after he took care to cool it down a little. I'm having a small glass of white wine, that is actually good! The MINUTE I walked in to this Nail Salon, the owner, Kong, immediately was present and had the best customer service I have received in a very long time. Everyone that worked there was helpful! Mr. Kong did my manicure/pedicure and it turned out awesome as I am super picky about polish. His lovely wife, Angela, waxed my eyebrows and they also turned out great :). Everything was clean and organized. There was an extensive color selection as well with a wide variety scheme. The prices were also great. Friendly staff, good drinks, great job all around! I did a gel pedicure and dip manicure, hasn't chipped at all.

I had my nails done twice at this facility. The first time Tia did not finish my nails and said that someone else would do it when my pedicure was finished. When I mentioned that they were not finished when the pedicure was done, she came over and attempted to do it while I was sitting in the pedicure chair. They do not have enough techs for the number of customers that they have. If you make an appt, don't bother, as walk-ins trump appointments. Tia does GREAT work but needs more staff for her facility. They also need to take people with appt prior to walk-ins making the people that MAKE appt wait. Do NOT have Nicole do pink and white nails. She does not know how and tried to do mine with a different color and cover the botched job with sparkles. This was the worst nail job I have had in 30 years bar none. It was so bad that I was afraid to complain and she would get in trouble. She needs more training prior to doing nails to say the least. Also, I did not have the time to have it redone. read more

They do a great job- however they are not properly staffed to accommodate the amount of people coming in. If you make an appointment you should not be forced to sit and wait while they take yet another person with an appointment. My recommendation is come here if you have plenty of time to wait- not if you are in a hurry. They need more staff or they need to honor appointments. Why bother making a 1230 appointment if they are going to take someone at 1 and make you wait while they take care of them in between your manicure and pedicure. Annoying. read more
