This is my favorite place in okc. I love buying art from here. I could spend all day just looking at all the different pieces and deciding what to purchase. This little store makes me so happy. I don't live in Oklahoma, so I usually purchase online. My package always comes with a little a cute little extra sticker of a dog or "support local art." I went back to visit okc recently, and I saved up my money to go crazy. In store selection did not disappoint. I just love that they are making local art accessible. Horrible customer service- I left almost $1000 in purchases because the girl told me to put the $500 item down because she was getting nervous . I told her I was carrying it to the counter to purchase it. Counter was 10 ft away. Very disappointed to say the least. I would not want her working for me. read more

May be the coolest store in the Plaza District and that is saying something. It's part gallery, part retro and cool Tee shop, cool card shop, stickers, accessories, etc. I had to buy a snarky Jon-Michael Frank print. We also stocked up on fun greeting cards and bought a few Frida stickers. The cashier was great and told us about the store and how we might want to buy a "local" card to save some dough. I absolutely love this place! It is my go-to store for any gift shopping, local art, and apparel. I love their selection of greeting cards and tend to buy them even when I have no one to give them to, just because I like them so much! They always have a wide array of beautiful art prints from several local artists as well as canvas and sculpture pieces to purchase as well. I always find something beautiful here. Their jewelry section is awesome, and their apparel is on point. If you love OKC Thunder and Oklahoma t-shirts, this is the place to go! What a wonderful gift store. That being said don't confuse DNA with an art gallery. Yes there's some art but the vast majority of the shop consists of kitschy gift & craft items. Oh my god everytime I come visit town I make my must go trip to DNA. And that is high praise from an art kid from NYC. Even higher praise? I wish we had an accessible art shop even half of what DNA is up in New York. If only we could be so lucky. The rotating art selection is not just beautiful, it's thought provoking, soulful and unique. There is a wide variety of products, not just prints. I'm especially sucker for the cards. I adore the rotating gallery and knowing that it comes from the area, often has an uplifting cause, and we get to dive more into the artist and their work personally. When I did finally pop in it was during an art show and I ended up with like 3 pieces of art to put in my office. (I had a little wine). Since then the owners have changed hands and the store has just gotten better and better. My husbands favorite was the prints and art-I love that they carry honestly Margo lip balm. They rotate a featured artist (or two) each month, so there's generally something new each time you stop in. They're also pet friendly, so no need to skip it when you're out with your pets! I've browsed DNA Galleries quite a few times without purchasing, but I needed a backpack for a last minute hiking trip and I saw on Instagram they carry BWAP, which donates a backpack to RFBOK with every purchase. What I like about DNA: Wide variety of items. Spruce Midwest stocks here and I love their tees. Sage Eden Pottery, Shabby Chick cleaning and a few other items I generally pick up for myself or gifts are also stocked here. They have jewelry and lots of Oklahoma art items. Lots of tees and also Oklamerica, which is another great brand. The whole store just lives and breathes Oklahoma. Their hours. As some who commutes, I appreciate they are open til 7, so I can actually stop by after work! They respond to people on social media. It really irks me when businesses act high and mighty, like they are too good to talk to the commoners. DNA has always been helpful answering my questions on social media, and I am thankful for that extra step! What I dislike about DNA: The windows make it hotter than a mugggggg in there. I almost can't handle it. When I'm shopping, it's almost like taking a hot yoga class. I've never been in there with an overly friendly staff. It's usually one person at the counter (I've seen a couple different girls) and they are usually busy on their cell phones, answer your questions shortly and don't strike up much convo while checking out. This is a little off putting for me, because I really enjoy getting to know people behind the stores. Maybe it's just me. I really loved my backpack and can't wait to take it out this weekend! I need to keep DNA in mind more because they really do have a great variety! read more

Fun, funky art, non-mass produced clothing, hipster vibe but doesn't require a beard or anchor tattoo. The employees feel more like part-owners rather than pushy sales folk or helpless zombies. This place had some really nice unique gifts and clothes. Had a family of pigeons with babies out front that were their 32nd family of pigeons borne to the same pigeon couple in front of this store! Highlight of our day and worth the trip alone to see the proud parents watching over their young! I love the shops in the Plaza District as they all have the most unique hand made, usually local, clothes and other items. Door mats made out of fake grass in the shape of Oklahoma, custom screen t-shirts, beautiful dresses and men's clothes, lots of cotton and natural fabrics. Employees were very pleasant and helpful, showing genuine appreciation we had stopped in, even with our five year old (who's better behaved than I am). This is a great business to visit anytime but if you're approaching the holidays or someone's birthday, it's a no brained to acquire that gift that makes others say, "why didn't I go there to get my gift?!?!" This is one of my favorite shops in the Plaza District. They have a great variety of products from clothing and jewelry to cards and soaps. I always come here to buy birthday cards. As I've gotten older, I don't typically buy birthday presents for people outside of my family, but a nice card goes a long way. They're handmade and not cheap, about $5/ea on average, but I'd rather be supporting local artists and businesses than getting a bunch of cheap, generic cards at Walmart or Target. Most recently my husband and I purchased soaps made by The Little Bubble. It's so awesome that DNA is selling products made by this 10 year old entrepreneur.
