Part of the Hawthorne Garage establishment, this is a tiny coffee bar. I suspect the name "DNA" is a spin of Dan and Andy's rather than the genetic particle.
You can order at the outside window or inside at the deli (although you may have better luck outside).
Coffee is expertly grinded, brewed, and poured into take away black cups (S, M, L) and served with a tiny gingerbread man - which I personally enjoy dipping (waterboarding maybe?) into my coffee.
I find the coffee to be well made. Not weak or too milky (for a latte) and am happy to have found that consistency thorough the few times I've been there so far.
Tables are available and feel free to buy some yummy produce from the market instead to enjoy with your DNA coffee.
Wifi is also available here, a decal on the window of the market shows to "ask inside" So this is a good spot to do your work as well. A fair note, it does get busy on the weekends. read more
